I never thought that I'd ever see Harrison Ford and former San Francisco 49ers greats Joe Montana and Jerry Rice on the same airing on TV, but it finally happened! :D

The opening lead-in to Super Bowl XL featured a live-action Harrison narrating Dr. Seuss' "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" within an animated world. Montana and Rice, as well as other past NFL stars such as Roger Staubach, Bart Starr and Franco Harris later joined in the narrating, though Harry still did most it. :)

narrating Dr. Seuss' "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

Or rather, a version of "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" with some of the lyrics modified for the Super Bowl. ;)

That was pretty cool. I like to see Harrison back in the spotlight more and more. I think these are growing indication of the engine revving for the Indiana Jones 4 publicity machine.

I agree. I feel that something is finally brewing! :)

Harrison still looks fit enough to at least wear the Indy clothes and gear. :D

I agree with all the previously stated sentiments, but I would like to add...

I never thought I would see Ford in Seussland. :p

I didn't know what to think when I saw Harrison narrating a Dr. Seuss story. Kind of mixed emotions! :)

As I posted in a previous thread just after the game:

"Did everyone see the commercial with Harrison in it?

That was pretty neat to have him on a superbowl commercial. (By the way, it was on abc HD, not sure if every channel had him on it.

Didn't like the ear-bob though, and it's certainly not Indy-like."

He seemed relaxed. I think he's getting to the age where he just doesn't give a damn -- which is a good thing. The guy has been too tight for too long.
