In Last Crusade Indy leaves the College via the window to avoid those whining students. Does he ever plan to return to teaching or will he try to get to know his father better?

My guess both.

Yes, I always thought that was a very, very funny scene. I'm pretty sure he goes back to teaching and gets to know his dad better. Considering they live in the same town. Btw which city does Indiana live in anyway? In the plane scenes he always seems to be leaving the golden gate bridge. So i'm assuming San Francisco?

In Raiders, the place is Marshall College, which is in Connecticut. We see the Sea Clipper leaving from Frisco in the movie simply because, well, it'd be pretty tough for a Sea Clipper to leave from inland Connecticut.

I prefer to think that Indy lives in San Francisco.

Your preference and you're all entitled to it, but that's the official word.

Indy's address is:

Henry Jones, Jr.
38 Adler Avenue
Fairfield, New York 13406

"Write" him sometime!

His office is in Hamilton Hall at Barnett College, BTW. Not sure of the room number.

This was his address in LC, anyhow. By Indy 4, it may have changed.

Like any good Indyologist, I do my research:

Also, I don't think Indy lost his teaching post for his "Houdini routine" out his office window, but I'm pretty darn sure he got a talking to about it!

I think...

If a person found the "Ark of the Covenant," why would he go back to teaching? Perhaps to share his love of antiquities with aspiring students, but I really see Indy using that experience to finance further adventures.

Which brings up another point...How much $$$ do you think Indy got from the government in Raiders? He indicates that the money is "fine," but really, do you think he cashed a sweet check from Uncle Sam?

It must have been pretty good but imagine if he wrote a book how much would he get then.

I just perused my copy of the Raiders of the Lost Ark Sourcebook and I didn't see mention there of how much money he got. However, do also have the TSR book for Raiders (can't find it-- it's in storage), but I'm pretty sure he gets 10 grand-- a small fortune back then. I think Marion gets around the same amount.
