don't get me wrong, these once are nice and well done but on the whole, despite being kind of a Corel fan, bryce is far inferior to TerraGen when it comes to 3d landscape generation.

Tennessee R

Actually, I had never even heard of TerraGen until VP mentioned it above.
I got Bryce several years back, when it was with corel. Now, I believe that they don't even handle it anymore?

And, only from the pictures VP posted, I can already see that you are correct about it being better.

I'll have to check it out.

I often use a unix shell remotely and sometimes dial-in to an x-client for school (our servers run a custom unix distribution), but other than that linux isn't really that useful to me... gnome and kde are both much slower than windows, and MS has smarter programmers. I used linux sometimes in high school when I wanted to be cool.

Also, that chick isn't that hawt.

Linux is three Distributions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_distribution), you heard of them? They come in varying sizes and formats.

Most debian-variants (like Ubuntu) fit on one CD. Also, if you need extremes, you can fit a dozen DSLs (http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/) on one.

But we're going OT...

well, my Windows XP was pretty cheap too... ;)

when I was a student, at home I used Windows (for every day stuff) and Linux (for programming), but at school, for computer science, we had to use OpenVMS!
Since I got an iBook, it's mac OS X only at home. And at work mainly the Unix family (Linux, Solaris and even VxWorks).

For me OS X is without a doubt the most user-friendly (and it's got the Unix shell for the geeks! :)).

That new one rocks a lot, if I do say so. It's in keeping with the theme I've so far established for my desktop art preference. Vampyros Lesbos was Italian sleaze, and so too is the new one--loosely. Asia Argento... daughter of the legendary Italian horror/sleaze director, Dario Argento. :)

That also drives me crazy!

As far as Bogey's film noirs go, though, I think I enjoy The Big Sleep more, although I know that The Maltese Falcon is a far superior film. The only thing that really bothers me about The Maltese Falcon is that Mary Astor's character, Brigitte O'Shauggessy, is supposed to be a "knockout," as the secretary describes her, and to be honest, Astor is rather plain looking. Not ugly, but not quite "knockout" material. I think perhaps a different actress, and I would love it. Just one of those little things that bothers me.

It's a HUGE HUGE file and I got it from the PotC boards. Someone was nice enough to scan it out of an art book they had. If you really want it, I'll email it to you. But again, ye be warned, tis a large file indeed. 3854 KB.

Wondered if anyone would know what I was talking about, hehee. I like the story in the first one better, but I like the controls and the new features of KOTOR2 better. It's nice knowing whether you've already searched a container without needing to look inside it again. :) In the first one I like to play darkside female, fall in love with Carth and then kill him on the Star Forge. :gun:

Here's my current desktop (Rocky Horror) in celebration of Halloween. I have a special Xmas one too which will be revealed in time.... ;)

Awesome desktop...I just saw her and Little Nell in Atlantic City for the Rocky Horror Convention. Got her and Nell's autograph and a pic with Nell...again, awesome desktop.

I've been changing desktops a lot lately. Mostly screencaps. This one is from Ultraman season 2. This one's subtitle was too hilarious not to share!

Hey man, that's been my desktop since September. I had that movie pre-ordered. :p Certainly not ashamed to admit it.

And as far as spin-offs/ sequels go... it trumps Indy 4 significantly. The plot is endlessly more plausible as well. ;)

Hey man, I know. That's me bein' hip and in the vernacular. ;)

I don't know Fairytale Fights... but I'm at work and considering the context of the conversation, I figure now is not the best time to google it.

The ending ruined it though. Way too sappy and detached from the rest of the plot.

Rock on fellow X-Phile/ Porno-Phile!

There were only a few moments that had be cringing. Scully's line about arresting "Satan's whore." That and that Mulder sacrificed the satanist to Lilith... seemed so out of character.

You'd think for a movie of this "type" they would have picked a better looking guy...

Actually as far as acting was concerned, Anthony Rosano gave the most convincing performance. Besides... he's really only there as stunt-cock.

Yeah... but the fact that we got to see Scully get it on... finally... made up for the sappiness.

For a porno, it was a damn good production, I think.

Yeah... but the fact that we got to see Scully get it on... finally... made up for the sappiness. I think the genre made it even more cringeworthy, since they could probably have found a way to saddle up even without icing it all with extra syrup.

It really should have been tied in more with the main plot. Or really given some context related to the first six seasons of relationship building (Sex-Files supposedly takes place in season 7). I mean Mulder acts as if he's getting some major confession off his chest and that it isn't something that had grown steadily. They almost shack up between season 5 and 6 (the first movie), for christ's sake. And now they're just coming around to realizing they need one another? Didn't fly.

I suppose you've all had enough of my Indy/Irina talk, so instead of my current desktop, I will post a cute cat picture that I sometimes use as a replacement:
