when they first saw each other in the tank in The Last Crusade. They did some sort of secret handshake thing but without shaking hands. I know Brody did some funny arm movements and I think he pinched his ear. Anyway, what the hell was that?

An old University Club toast.
"Genius of the Restoration-"
"-aid our own resuscitation!"
Dunno if it existed before the movie.

what was it . . .gay. Not really a fan of LC and I thought the Henry Brody relatonship was a bit tedious.

I could have told you that. But, I was sick yesterday, and wasn't allowed out of the house to go in the internet. :p

Get well Violet Indy!
...I love the "Genius of the Restoration" bit in III. It's very fun! And it quickly demonstrates their longtime friendship. :)

What are you sick with?
Is there any more to "Genius of the restoration" or is it just those two lines?

Cool. I've been wondering what they said for a while. I don't know why I didn't think of asking, though. :p

I second this question!

What?! Put things into context my friend, it would have been in the late 1800's when they were in school...what's "gay" during one time is another time's "cool".

I think the phrase was made up by the screenwriter.
It probably refers to the English Restoration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Restoration) of the monarchy, 1660.

Thank you!:) I am feeling better now. I had some chamomile tea, and my illness cleared right up in time for me to do camerawoman for the Open Day shoot yesterday however, I now have a sore back and shoulders. I will be fine for Thurday night. My friends are throwing me an early 18th birthday at Dracula's cabaret and restaurant.
What are you sick with?
Nice to know you care, Gustav.:) I was having some stomach bug that was going around or I was nervous about the shoot. Either way, I'm fine and I have enough time to recover for film school and my party.
