In LC Sean Connery is Indy's father. Sean Connery is from Scotland.
Does that mean that Indiana Jones is one half Scottish?

Yes, in the story, Henry Jones Sr. is born in Scotland.
But I think he could been born in an other place.
That's not an obligation to make Henry Jones Scottish because Sean Connery is.

That's right. The actor that plays the younger Henry Snr in YIJC, has a Scottish accent to resemble Sean Connery and also has red-brown hair as a traditional Scotsman stereotype would have. I think Anna Jones is British. At least, that's what she sounded like.

She is born in Virginia.

Connery was born with a Spanish name and a Scottish accent on Planet Zeist 500 years ago. According to Highlander 2.

"Doesn't it make you proud to be Scottish/"
"I hate being Scottish. We're the lowest of the fu**ing ow, the scum of the Earth, the most wretched, servile, miserable, pathic trash that was ever shat into civilization. Some people hate the English, but I don't. They're just wankers. We, on the other had, are colonized by wankers. We can't even pick a decent culture to be colonized by. We are ruled by effete a$$holes. It's a ****e state of affairs and all the fresh air int he world will not make any fu**ing difference"
I love Trainspotting, Irvene Welsh is such a great author!

Yes this is true but it clearly says in the novel that Muscles McGerkin and Plunger Lips Lloyd found that Anna Jones was actually knocked up by a Hungarian Butcher named Olgi Shlongson. Do the reading.

Ever see Braveheart? Sir William Wallace was a Scottish hero, freedom-fighter; beheaded and dismembered by the English.

Yeah, it's a good film, Jay. Personally I'll never another of Gibson's films after his latest bout of verbal diarherra. Yeah, I know I spelled that wrong. Don't care.

Deirdre did. :D Though, when I read the part about him looking at himself in the mirror with the kilt on, the sentence sounded like Indy wasn't wearing anything on underneath..... perhaps, that's my impure imagination.:o

As for a half-Scotsman Indy... makes him universally likeable? Ya'll know how us Europeans hate you Americans, right? :p

"Hairy thighs" indeed. Actually when I read that, I thought "ewww..."
I thought it was really funny when Dierdre says, "Now you look like a real man, Indy" when she saw him in the kilt!

Yeah. I love that part! And he kinda blushes at her and says that they look like twins! :whip: LOVE IT!!! Btw, you wouldn't believe one of my friends put together this birthday card for me making fun of my love for Indy and wrongly connecting it to Harrison Ford. Hilarious card though!
