The question at hand is, will Indy and his father, live forever? They did in fact drink from the cup of Christ. Some say that the power of the grail didnt go past the seal... however, I have different interpretations. The knight said the Grail couldn't go past the seal. He never said that the power of the grail doesnt go past the seal. So... will Indy live forever?

It's a movie, so it's possible. However, Indy's adventures usually put him in jeopardy as a mortal. He lives by that throughout the trilogy. Could he now be immortal and not know? I love the supernatural aspects of the Indy trilogy, but I don't think that he or his audience will know him to have such power. And I think that in The Last Crusade, it's clear that anyone must continue drinking from The Cup behind the seal in order to live forever.

Nothing lives forever...

If Indy was "Immortal" it'd certainly take all the excitement out of the series

immortal is a relative term. He could just have the ability not to die of old age. We dont know, do we?

We may all be immortal if one part of a Quantam Theory is correct. All of us may have already died many times, but our consciences were transferred to a parallel dimention in which we didn't die. Confusing? You bet! ;)

Remember that the one Knight died of extreme old age. :dead:

(In my book, there IS no Duncan.... *shudder*)Lambert all the way, m'man...after all, Henry, Sr., was just Juan Sanchez Villalobos Ramirez in disguise, and the Grail was just a cover-up.

At first I thought that he would live for ever, since he drank from the Grail. But after watching the movie again, the Knight said that the price of immortality is for the Grail not to go out of the place where it was. So I don't think he's immortal.

That's what I was going to say. I think Indy probably has visited more than a couple other places that offer immortality, like the Fountain of Youth.

Whether Indy dies or not his legacy will go on forever!
