    Daredevils of the Desert

Oh, my wife and I have been to Kopps more than once. They have huge hamburgers! I also enjoyed Happy Days (before Fonzie became a schoolteacher). The episodes from the Ralph Malph years were fantastic. Sorry we're so far away from Minnesota. We still like Minnesotites. I'll have to...

    Daredevils of the Desert

Hello, Avilos! I live in Racine. Happy Days? Well, Racine is very close to Milwaukee. But I've never seen Arnolds in Milwaukee. I am Fonzie, however. Some shots were removed from Daredevils? Bizarre. I love how the fight with Daniel Craig goes on forever to fill time.

    Daredevils of the Desert

Thanks, Stoo! Looking forward to your findings. What amazes me is that neither the original shorter Daredevils of the Desert nor the Dracula half of Masks of Evil aired on ABC in '93. They seem to have been two of the more commercial episodes that might have potentially increased the show's...

    Ronny Coutteure

Thank you very much, Stoo and Grizzlor. Here's the info from the link (really sad): So far the only information on Ronny Coutteure's death comes from several very short French news articles. He died on June 21 at his home in Fretin, near Lille in northern France. He committed suicide. He is...

What percentage of Indy movie fans likes the Young Indy series?

I'm just wondering what percentage of all the Raven posters generally posts in the Young Indy section? And aside from The Raven, it seems that Indy fans in general are just about everybody, kind of like James Bond fans. Most people consider themselves casual fans at least. But how rare are...

    What if...

It probably have made a difference if River had been in the TV show. It would have created a smoother transition for viewers. (though I personally prefer Flanery's warm portrayal to River's too-brief movie appearance). I'm not sure William's music would have changed the success of the show as...

    Daredevils of the Desert

I'm not sure if the original 1993 hour-long episode meant for ABC (but not shown) was seen by anyone or not, but since I know another hour of footage was filmed and added years later for the VHS release, I was just wondering if anyone knows what the episode consisted of originally and which...

    Ronny Coutteure

Remembering Ronny Coutteure (Remy) 1951-2000 Ronny Coutteure was born on July 2, 1951 in Werwik, in Belgium. The year 2001 was his 30th year in the career of an actor, author, director and realizer, a career which began as clown. Ronny Coutteure worked for the cinema, the radio, television, the...

    Mask of Evil (İstanbul)

Hey, thanks for the info! I'm going to have to watch the episode again. Young Indy definitely went to some interesting places that most of us would never see otherwise.

The New Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

I'd love to see all your suggestions happen. Well, anything with Flanery that is. Wonder what Corey Carrier looks like these days. Maybe like John Candy. I'm afraid the future of the franchise will fall on the shoulders of Shia LeBouf if anything, but I hope it doesn't. I don't think Lucas...

    Flanery's Season 3 Mullet

Does anybody know how long of a time it was between the filming of the four post-ABC TV movies (Hollywood Follies through Travels with Father) and the stuff filmed to make all the episodes into movies (My First Adventure part 2 through Winds of Change plus all the little added bits)? I always...

Amazed at the 2nd Half of The Winds of Change

O.K. I've now seen the DVD Travels with Father. (Best Corey Carrier episode I've seen so far.) Can somebody tell me exactly how the episode played out before the bookends with Flanery, his dad, and Nancy were removed? And what scenes did they add to the episode to fill in those gaps?

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - initial impressions and casual discussion

Oh yeah. I forgot those Tarzan's were even released. Thanks for the info. To be honest, I blew about $190 on the Young Indiana Jones sets, so I'll be broke for quite a while. Thanks, George Lucas. But your Tarzan info does help me appreciate the Mutt monkey scene more.

What is the one factor that most CONTRIBUTES to the success of this film?

Harrison Ford made it worthwhile. He was great. I also have to give the filmmakers credit for not playing it safe. TOD was dark and not safe at all. TLC followed the format of Raiders pretty closely in a manner I would call reasonably safe. But for Crystal Skull: Flying saucers? Whatever...

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - initial impressions and casual discussion

Excellent. Thanks. The Tarzan thing makes sense. I appreciate that. I own the Tarzan box set. But the Tarzan movies basically had one silly ape. Not hundreds of silly monkeys. I would have enjoyed it more if Mutt had just swung on the vines (without interacting with the Jumanji monkeys).
