Is it wrong for me to like Raiders the least?

Everyone's going to have their favorite, so to the OP, you're not in the wrong for not liking Raiders. Not everyone will agree with you on that, but that's alright. ;)

Which film did you see first?

When Raiders came out I was still a wee child, and saw it with my parents. I remember mom covering my eyes at the final scene. I've seen it a few times since then in theaters, and more times than I can count at home. I also saw ToD and LC in the theatres. Surprisingly I didn't get the dvd's...

    The Marion/Belloq Connection

I was Indy-surfing the other day, and managed to find a "30 Days of Indy" calendar of pictures and information on the Empire (magazine) site from back in April. http://www.empireonline.com/indy/day3/ On the section containing quotes from the Raiders cast and crew there was one I found...

LOL SKAbatula. Thanks for the mindblowing welcome! :D Thanks DIrishB! I have alot of Indy books, and have been keeping up with the chronology. I'm hoping the Indiana Jones Adventures comes out with a sequel book. The first one was well done.

Many thanks, Indy~Annie and Muttette. *grabs the bottle of "Family Label" from Belloq and stows it away* He'll get it back when he's in a better mood. :p

Thanks for the welcomes! And I wish I had the HM game...it's hard to come by on ebay (aka eek-bay). I certainly hope my Indy collection will one day rival my HM one (that'll be tough, but it's a challenge I'm willing to face). And yep...I am in Central FL, though slightly closer to the east side.

    Best Sidekick

For me it was a tie between Marcus and Sallah. I appreciate the humor, knowledge and compassion they both lent to their scenes (with Indy in particular), but I think Sallah's scene in LC where he grabbed the camels for the getaway pushes my vote for him slightly ahead.

    Favorite Component of Raiders

I picked 'Cast' as my choice, although the plot/storyline would come in a close second. Lucas and Spielberg did a great job casting the roles that would become legendary. Sadly, I have a hard time picturing Danny Devito as Sallah (I don't discount him as an actor, but love John Rhys Davies'...

Raiders of the Lost Ark Back on the Big Screen

Caught the viewing of Raiders in Orlando, and that was such a treat. The old quality of the film gave it a serial feel to it, and to watch it along with younger folk that probably hadn't seen it in the theatre before was fun. I hope they do another run of it (in a marathon) again sometime.

    What's everyone reading?

I'm reading Blood Rites, book 6 of The Dresden Files, just finished a quick, but entertaining evening with the Indiana Jones Adventures graphic novel, and will be reading Motel of Mysteries (a humorous tale of archeology gone wrong), as well as the first Charlaine Harris 'Dead' book (Dead Until...

*squeaks* Con sarnit, I shouldn't have worn these shoes. :o Hi folks - Newbie to the board here from Central FL. I'm a fan of many things Indy (appreciator of Belloq as well), and apart from IJ I also enjoy Harry Dresden, Harry Potter, Buffy, Firefly/Serenity, True Blood (it's alright so...
