Everyone's going to have their favorite, so to the OP, you're not in the wrong for not liking Raiders. Not everyone will agree with you on that, but that's alright. ;)

When Raiders came out I was still a wee child, and saw it with my parents. I remember mom covering my eyes at the final scene. I've seen it a few times since then in theaters, and more times than I can count at home. I also saw ToD and LC in the theatres. Surprisingly I didn't get the dvd's...

Thanks for the welcomes! And I wish I had the HM game...it's hard to come by on ebay (aka eek-bay). I certainly hope my Indy collection will one day rival my HM one (that'll be tough, but it's a challenge I'm willing to face). And yep...I am in Central FL, though slightly closer to the east side.

For me it was a tie between Marcus and Sallah. I appreciate the humor, knowledge and compassion they both lent to their scenes (with Indy in particular), but I think Sallah's scene in LC where he grabbed the camels for the getaway pushes my vote for him slightly ahead.

I picked 'Cast' as my choice, although the plot/storyline would come in a close second. Lucas and Spielberg did a great job casting the roles that would become legendary. Sadly, I have a hard time picturing Danny Devito as Sallah (I don't discount him as an actor, but love John Rhys Davies'...

Caught the viewing of Raiders in Orlando, and that was such a treat. The old quality of the film gave it a serial feel to it, and to watch it along with younger folk that probably hadn't seen it in the theatre before was fun. I hope they do another run of it (in a marathon) again sometime. :up:
