Yes, it's interesting that the college appears to actually house the museum (presumably the same one referenced in Raiders and Crusade) but up until this point wasn't the museum supposed to be separate to the college - the National Museum where Marcus works?

Maybe he gets booted to Barnett College because he expense accounts a round the world trip with nothing to show for it.

Why copy paste Faye Spanos Concert Hall when Burns Tower is right there?

Interesting info on the wiki:

So because of the canonical inconsistencies the National Museum basically has multiple branches.

Guess that's how Marcus always conveniently up nearby regardless of if he's in Marshall or Barnett. He's on the move!

Also, guess we'll see his Marshall College office instead. Hopefully better than the Boiler Room at Barnett!

Ha, yes, we do so much of the heavy lifting on this forum when it comes to rationalising dubious characterisation and half thought through plot points that we deserve story credits!
Indy's got plot and fan armor after all!

Lol imagine all of this is just Old Indy retelling the stories. It all makes sense too from that angle.

"I remember oh back in 1938 when I was teaching at Barnett...or was it Marshall?"

"Did I tell you about the time I found the Philosopher's stone? Found it three times I did. Three!"

The reveal trailer is currently at 7.1 million views (and counting) in just 12 days.

In comparison, Uncharted 4's reveal trailer has 12 million views since 2014, and the first trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider has 4.4 million views since 2018.

Not a bad start for Indy.
Awesome! And that's not even counting the multiple channels that posted it separately!

I think the Uncharted/TR vacuum sure is helping too. Combining the friendly franchise fans for the grandad of them all once again!

What's funny is that the response to this new Indy game highlights a key difference in gaming and film.

There's a clear thirst in gaming or franchise IP games based on films, as there's been a deficit of them for a long time. But with games like RoboCop: Rogue City, Evil Dead: The Game, Friday the 13th, Hogwarts: Legacy, etc. being embraced by gamers - it's clear that there's a thirst for some movie based games to come back.

But in film, franchise IPs are stale, distrusted, not met with excitement and it seems like filmgoers don't care about older franchises.

It's a clear contrast.
