I hope the new dvds have the bookends or at least a featture with them. They're my favorite part. Hell i would watch "The Old Indiana Jones Cronicles" :p
|
My hope once the DVDs come out is that some clever person will be able to splice old Indy back into the episodes, and restore them to the quality of the original versions (but with the benefit of DVD picture and sound).

'London, 1916'
Pt 6 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O9VQqsOSOM I'm getting alittle weepy just thinking about it. :( |
Here are the two bookends for the 'Princeton, February 1916'.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMvqItJoVeI George Hall was awesome. :( |

One of my favorite episodes. |
The only one that grabbed my attention was the Catherine Zeta Jones one, I was wondering what kind of a part she had. The woman apparently doesn't age, since she looks exactly the same now. Good for her.

The Curse of the Jackal, Part 1

I just watched the one with Indy and Elizabeth Hurley. That ending was ridiculous! I mean, it is so clichéd. "And then I never saw her again...Vicki?"
I have to admit thought the box artwork is nice. |
Yeah but did you like the episode itself?
|
I didn't watch the whole thing, just the final clip. Maybe I'll watch the rest of episode, since old Indy seems to be low point of the show.
|
The Indiana Jones universe has always dealt in cliches and coincidence. To dismiss it this time would be ridiculous.
Perhaps if you'd watched the whole episode before you saw the end (and y'know, gotten involved in the emotion of the episode), you would have a better opinion of it. |

Have they really dealt in coincidence that much? I see some very intentional parallels, sure, but I'm curious what it is you have in mind. |

Thank you so much for putting these up! I used to have all these taped as a kid but somewhere along the line they got lost or taped over. Don't listen to the nay-sayers--you're doing us Chronicles fans all a great service!
|
Great to hear mate, thanks alot.
I don't want George Halls contribution and importance to be forgotten, primarily... but the show simply worked so much better as 45 minute episodes than clumsy 'Adventure' things. ...I just hope I don't get sued, I'm a poor student afterall :D |
Do you have the rest of Curse of the Jackal? Getting to that halfway point and then not having the ending is such a horrible tease! ;)
|
Heh, yeah - but I'm on dialup... so it all takes hours and hours. Sit tight :)
Glad you're digging 'em! |

(in order as aired) and labeled them "The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles". Total running time is over 1 hour. My favourite part is when he assaults the guy in doughnut shop. Sadly, it seems the only way that Old Indy will be kept alive is by us, the fans. (At least for now...) |
you wouldn't be able to upload that would you, cos I've seen very little of them:hat:
|
Good idea! Could you do that?
|
Stoo,Upload them to Youtube!!!:D

Hey Guys,
Yes, I will eventually post Old Indy but I want to finish with my "Entertainment Tonight" series of Indy clips first. One of them is the rare Harrison Ford interview for "Mystery of the Blues". I love it as it is on-set and there a clips of the crew filming both exterior and interior scenes. Ford is sitting near a wood stove in full costume. Can't wait for y'all to see it... I also have some other random clips on the set for "Blues" that I fully intend on posting as well. |
