JJ Abrams Untilted New Project Gets trailer For Beowolf Film So No indy Trailer?
http://www.chud.com/index.php?type=news&id=12367
So Cloverfields Trailer is at the start of Beowolf so it looks like probably no Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Trailer with Beowolf:down: So It might be December afterall...Huhhh |
There was no mention of a trailer anywhere anyway, but having a teaser with Beowulf is still a huge possibility.
|
Sorry i meant Teaser hopefully well get something fingers crossed
|
Don't most movies have more than one trailer with them?
|

I repeat, it's likely a teaser trailer we're awaiting at this point, not a full theatrical. |
Crystal Skull could also have a trailer with Beowulf too.
Beowulf with trailers for Indy 4 and 1-18-08! Now that would be great. |
That manuscript for the trailer said it'll be out the 22nd of November.
|
no movies are coming out on nov 22nd i checked on coming soon but imagine cloverfield and indy together!i still think maybe beowolf its the obvious choice

Finn is correct. Teasers are a bit ridiculous, but I bet they will have one for Indy... I hope it is not as bad as the one for The Dark Knight. |
I heard that there is supposed to be a trailer for Indy 4 around Thanksgiving... we'll see.
|
Yeah ...well but not all teasers are the same.
Some show nothing at all while others offer little glimpses of certain scenes. There's a blurring line between trailers and teasers. However...it's better not to expect too much. And in the end less is more. As a matter of fact I don't even need a a teaser or a trailer. None of us needs it. We all know this movie is coming. We've been anticipating it for decades. It's a guilty pleasure. Something that will heat on my anticipation even more. It's insane. EDIT: Actually, I'm thinking that what we need is de-teasing, de-teaserization or however you want to call it. But maybe this is just the wine talking. |

Since when does a movie only have one preview before it? |

My sources tell me that the Indy teaser is indeed attached to Beowulf.
|
ohh cool i like you and your sources!Im really amped now im going to be going to Kotcs at midnight because apparently new zealand gets it first so i could i suppose be one of the first in the world to see well from the public

Well then I am now officially pumped. You've made claims before, but none of them have been imminently provable. The fact that the movie comes out in just a little over a week, means that you mue some kind of source. Otherewise, you wouldn't tell us for fear that we would all find out you were a fraud in short time! So, it's only about a week away!! Maybe it will premiere online before Friday! |
Patience, my pet.

Teh woot. Not that I wasn't going to see Beowulf before now, but now I'm definitely going to. |
I met Janusz Kaminski (Cinematographer for Indy4) a few days ago at the AFI fest http://theuntitledproject.weebly.com
and even HE doesn't know when the teaser is coming out. DAMN Kathleen Kennedy was at AFI BUT SHE LEFT EARLY!!!! |

So what's the word? Sources still intact? |
There will be no Indy trailer on Beowulf. Regal's trailer list came out today, and there's is no Indy trailer on any prints.
|
Are there any movies you've absolutely never heard of before?
I mean, it is conceivable that they are trying to keep this a huge secret. Any thought Aaron? |
Quote:
Crystal clear. But thanks for the ultimate clarification! |
Quote:
WHAT??? :( Source? Scan? |
Quote:
I'm an assistant manager at a Regal theatre. I can't post the email because that's not allowed, but every Wed we get the trailer list and Indy isn't on Beowulf. |
Quote:
Thank you for the heads-up! I assume this applies only to Regal Theaters? Anyone else know if any other theater chains may be getting it? |
A trailer would not need to be attached to any film. Just delivered in a bundle for individual theaters to attach to whatever they choice.
|
I do ask again though, is it possible that Paramount could be doing some kind of secretive end run in order to make sure no one steals the prints of the trailer before they reach theaters?
|
Quote:
Okay, well if we're going to play the technical game. Regal has a list of a trailers that each print needs to have spliced on to them, and none of those are Indy 4. ;) |
Quote:
It only applies to Regal, but I'm 99% sure no other chain will have it on their prints either. |
Quote:
Pretty much no. |
If it was a last minute tactic then I think only theaters with digital prints would be able to get it. It's probably too late to include it with 35 mm prints as most of them have probably already been sent out to theaters by now.
|
Quote:
Okay! Thanks for the reply. I only ask because I know I've run into that before (I didn't see a Golden Compass trailer with POTC3 at the Regal theater but my parents did at AMC, and I saw an Enchanted trailer with it but they did not, etc.) |
Quote:
I am not saying that you are lying! Just that one theater does not represent every theater! I know from past anticipated films that not every theater gets every trailer. |
Quote:
That is true, I've had film cans that have only half the trailers that are supposed to be programmed on the print. However, the fact that none of the prints of Beowulf are programmed to play the trailer for all of Regal Entertainment Group means that it won't be in any can. |
So just came from BeoWolf... No Indy Teaser/Trailer or whatever no untitled JJ Abrams movie either.. Just a trailer from I Am Legend and the regular ****, Narnia like movies etc...
Beowolf is one of the worst Movies ever... I didn't saw such a crap since... The only good thing in the Movie was/is Angelina Jolie. Damn she is soooo Hot..... I think I will continue to Play Tomb Raider anniversary, which I did never finish |
lol...Beowulf sukked? Isn't it out tomorrow?

Yeah it really suck.... and here in Germany it's the 11.15.07 11:21pm |
Dah, this really bites.
Ruined my week. :( |
Quote:
Not mine. I'm rather relieved I didn't have to see this godawful looking movie just to get a 30second glimpse of the new Indy movie on the big screen. |
looks like the untitled JJ produced movie is called "Cloverfield" now...

It looks like it's going to be with Sweeny Todd. It's the only Paramount film left for 2007, and it's right before Christmas.
|
Quote:
Well, it actually turns out it wasn't a code name at all, and the movie is actually called Cloverfield. Pretty weird eh? |
Quote:
That would suck. We went from being days away to more than a month! Maybe they will have an online thanksgiving trailer. |
Just beacuase Germany's release didn't have the trailer does that mean that the US release wont either?
Lets wait and see what happens tommorow. If not then it's gotta be Sweeny Todd. Movies Opening the Week of Nov. 22 Stephen King's The Mist Enchanted (Walt Disney) Hitman (Fox) I'm Not There Mama's Boy Nina's Heavenly Delights This Christmas Christmas in Wonderland Yiddish Theater: A Love Story Everything's Cool He Was a Quiet Man Starting Out in the Evening Midnight Eagle One More Chance Could it be with any one of these films? This might help: http://www.hollywood.com/movies/movie_calendar.aspx |
I'd kill to see it with Enchanted, since I'm seeing that opening night anyways! Probably not quite the right audience, though (Enchanted being marketed at kids and Disney nerds like me ;)). ;)
Other than the statement made by the guy who posted the "description," has there been any other real confirmation that it would be Thanksgiving, other than speculation? 'Cause there's plenty of other movies in Dec. it could be attached to. And as others have said here, it doesn't necessarily need to be attached to a Paramount movie. |
Doesn't National Treasure 2 come out around Christmas? That's a Disney film... Disney has good relations with Lucasfilm I think.

So, does this mean: a) your source was wrong b) something happened, but the trailer will be here shortly c) you don't have a source |
