Who would win in a fight. Mutt dosen't get a knife though. Personly Id have to say shortRound will win.:gun:

Short Round's fighting style was similar to the Cemetary Warrior in KOTCS...we all saw how Mutt fared against that guy.

As much as I like Mutt, my money in this one is on Shorty!!

Are we talking Short Round circa 1935 or whatever age he would be in '57? I can picture Mutt beating up little children, alright. Git.

Yeah, if Shorty can take out a bunch of adults, he can surely take out Mutt if he doesn't have his switchblade.

Short Round would kick Mutt's *** even if he had a blade remember the Maharaja? His dagger was way bigger than Mutts and Shorty smacked him sideways....... Plus Shorty literally beat people sensless even killed a man. Did Mutt do any of that? No

Yes. Mutt needs at least five confirmed kills under his belt before they even contemplate giving him the leading role. Launching a monkey-smackdown on Lady Comrade Spalko simply won't do. Short Round would have ripped her throat out with his little teeth.

I would definitely go with Short Round. He could have whipped Mutt's Butt even as a child, and his interaction with Indy was much funnier and more like father and son.

Short Round would kick Mutt's greaser ass faster than you can say 'hair comb.'

If Mutt landed in the Temple of Doom, he would make Willie Scott look like a prime example of bravery and courage.

They could of put Shorty in KOTCS and Sallah to............ but that gives me reason to believe their will be an Indy 5 so he can come full circle with all of his friends.

I don't care who would win in a fight, Short Round is a better character by a mile. Short Round is often cited as being the most annoying tag along character, but Mutt now has the bragging rights.

Short Round. He's not really my fave, i like Mutt more, but Short Round is gonna kick his gweasy *ss.

In '84, I hated Short Round but have come to appreciate him over the years. Now, I love him!
In the Marvel comics, he's in a boarding school in the States and rescues Indy on 1 adventure.
This should have been a poll. (If Mutt has no blade, then I'd put my $$$ on Shortie.)

In The Lost Journal of IJ there's a postcard from Shorty saying he is close to finding the Eye of the Peacock (The Diamond Indy was trying to get from Lao Che) He's on his way to Hawaii where it's being guarded by natives.

Yeah I noticed that too - it's a nice touch.

Are we giving Mutt enough credit here? He's a mighty resourceful lad (the diner scene). I trust that he could **** up a kid if his life depended on it. Also, he's Indy's son, Short Round is just some hanger on. Some of Daddy's coolness must have been inherited. Although, I am biased. I've never liked Short Round.

Only just seen this thread! Short Round all the way! He saw someone's heart get ripped out and wasn't too scared. Mutt was worried when he only saw a corpse's face flake.
