Indiana Jones vs. Harry Steele
 

As some may know, Harry Steele was the proto-Indiana Jones. The character was played by Charleton Heston in the 1954 film, "Secret of the Incas" and is dressed like: http://blufiles.storage.live.com/y1p...i2SidBMG_BmzeM

It would be an interesting match up, if Indy and Harry ran into each other. They would be competitors, ala Forrestal and Indy.

There are three different guys using the name Harry Steele on various Indy boards.

I can't stop watching SECRET OF THE INCAS. It's an addictive movie.

Indiana Jones would CRUSH Harry Steel. Indy's Doctorate tips the scales. It would be a brutal fight, but the brain beats the brawn.

Harry Steel comes off more like Forrestal...

Harry Steele would slaughter Indiana Jones. It would be as one-sided as Dempsey v Willard.

Harry Steele was hit over the head with a gun. As soon as he recovered he caught up with Ed Morgan without his gun, and what happened then?
Harry Steele would shove his rifle right up Indiana Jones' nose!

Hit by a gun?! Why didn't he shoot him? Oh yeah, while Ed was shooting the Mayan, Harry got the jump on him holding a bag loaded with gold and stones.

Hmmm, Harry got the jump on an old man with a blunt object in his hand but didn't use it.

Yeah, he'd kill Indiana Jones...

Indiana Jones would whip Harry Steele's rifle right out of his hand before he had a chance!
