A Season of Cage
 

It sounds like a pretty good title, no? Alas it's not. Every year though, it seems that one actor seems to be in every movie released. 2010 is looking like it just might be the year of Nicolas Cage, with no less than five pictures coming to theatres.

Trailers for three of them are out.

Kick Ass! appears to come first. It appears to be about super heroes without any actual powers, and looks to be quite entertaining.



Season of the Witch is next. Cage plays a 14th Century Crusader who has to escort a witch across Europe so that a select group of monks can perform the exorcism. Hijinks ensue. Hellboy's innit too!



And finally we have The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Yes, that Sorcerer's Apprentice. Cage plays master sorcerer Balthazar Blank who's trying to save modern-day Manhattan from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. He can't do it alone, of course, and must find The Sorcerer's Apprentice!

Pay attention. There's a scene that should look highly familiar.

Why Nick Cage still gets parts is beyond me.
