I was watching ToD in Spain...

I was watching it in Spanish on Canal+. And I noticed some bits which I had never seen before and are not on the DVD (the UK one anyway). When he takes out the guys heart, you actually see him digging his hands into the guys chest. He then turns round with the heart, then it goes to another shot where you see the guys chest, and you see what the guy did and his body kind of reforming. Did they cut it out of the DVD version? They never showed that bit on TV either.

I think that part is on the DVDs that I have. If I remember correctly, that part appears on the American version of the DVDs but not in the ones sold in some other countries.

I might be wrong here, does anybody know?

I beleive that is correct, because the ones we have include that also.

Wasn't ToD a major reason why the PG13 rating was created?

KDuncan 08-04-2005 05:11 PM

Yes, it was..

I watched ToD again tonight and that part is on my version. It's on the US version but where else is it included in the world? Is it only America or just certain countries where it's edited out?

The BBFC has censored scenes from ToD, including heart ripping and Shorty whipping. (That rhymes)
