    Customizing Indy Figures

Very nice, Lance! Cairo Indy is much improved, and Belloq looks great. What's the lower body from?

Indiana Jones and the Rise of the Dead... a Chad Bronder film

Really glad to see this back! Great action in this section. I'm really looking to part 3!

"Raiders of the Toy Box" Fan Project

Hi all, Over on Flickr, some Indy fans (myself included) have been creating an original Indiana Jones story using action figures. The project involves collaborative storytelling, so we each take turns in telling the next chapter in the story. It's currently up to the 22nd entry. Because there...

Your Figures In Action! (with PICS!)

In honor of the upcoming Marvel Studios film, I've set Indy in search of the ultimate mythological artifact: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/33194829@N08/5662620289/" title="Indiana Jones and the Crypt of the Gods by tymorg85, on Flickr"><img...

Your Figures In Action! (with PICS!)

A few months ago, I made a little series of Flickr about some enemies that Indy could face in future adventures. None of these pictures technically have Indy in them, but I'd like to post them, if you'll indulge me. The Fearsome Foes of Indiana Jones! The Faust Brigade: <a...

Indiana Jones and the Rise of the Dead... a Chad Bronder film

I don't know how I've missed all of the activity in this thread, but it was nice to discover all of the updates and the announcement that Part II is on its way. The pictures have me very excited; it's fun to find all of the cameos and Easter eggs. Really looking forward to part 2!

    Dark Horse Omnibus volume 2

The only part anyone has to read of The Spear of Destiny to know that it's terrible is the first page, where a thought bubble features Henry Jones, Sr. lamenting the loss of the Holy Grail literally as he's telling Indy about how he found "illumination." Talk about missing the point.

    raiders villains deaths

Dr. Bones beat me to it, but the German Mechanic getting frapped is one of my favorite conclusions to a move fight ever. Having said that, Toht's death is unbeatable. I love the way his glasses slide down his face as it melts. The use of practicals effects is both amazing and delightful. If it...

Indiana Jones, the Supernatural, and Suspension of Disbelief

I recently completed Steve Perry?s Indiana Jones and the Army of the Dead, and it made me think about the role of the supernatural in Indy adventures. For those who aren?t familiar with the novel, it is steeped in voodoo mythology, including zombies, and it also references an as-yet-unwritten...

Indiana Jones and the Rise of the Dead... a Chad Bronder film

I was away for a conference most of last week, so coming home and finding that part 1 of the movie posted was a fantastic ?welcome home? present. I have to echo what others have said. The voice acting, cinematography, special effects, and sets are all great. I don?t mind the scale difference...

Your Figures In Action! (with PICS!)

I got earlier this week for around $15, after tax. Considering you're also getting the figure with it (which are retailing at Toys R Us for about $5), you're technically only paying $10 for the gate itself. Unfortunately, I have doubts that they will drop much beyond that, due to Toys R Us's...

Your Figures In Action! (with PICS!)

Cool find, Dr. Gonzo! How is your action figure film coming along? I'm really looking forward to seeing it! I initially was not going to purchase the Prince of Persia gate playset, but after Lance posted pics of his over in the "Compatible" thread (combined with the reduced price at Toys R Us)...

Action Figures compatible with Hasbro's Indiana Jones?

Maybe Prince Dastan is a little larger than the villains? Both Setam and Zolm are pretty close in both height and proportion to Indy. Here's a comparison shot between a ARAH GI Joe, Indy, Setam, a 25th style Joe, and Iron Man. I swear they were all lined up evenly and there is no trickery going...

    Customizing Indy Figures

Great idea and awesome execution, Inky! Any plans for other vintage Indy customs? Dietrich would probably be relatively easy using a vintage Star Wars Imperial Officer.

Your Figures In Action! (with PICS!)

Really looking forward to the completed project, Dr. Gonzo! I was playing around with switching Indy and Joe parts, and came up with a fun, "alternate universe" shot. "Raiders of the Lost Ark...starring Tom Selleck!" <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/33194829@N08/4576117146/"...

Action Figures compatible with Hasbro's Indiana Jones?

The Prince of Persia figures have been out for about a week, so I thought I'd share: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/33194829@N08/4575443405/" title="Prince of Persia - Setam by tymorg85, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3383/4575443405_512a2259af.jpg" width="375"...

Action Figures compatible with Hasbro's Indiana Jones?

They've used that vest on the Target exclusive "Rampage" figure (http://www.yojoe.com/action/09/rampage3.shtml) that came with the RHINO vehicle. Being Hasbro, I'm sure they've used it before and will use it again. I'd like to get a hold of one, because it would make for a really cool OSS Indy.

Great stuff, Dr. Gonzo! I love live action toy movies. How long did this take you to put together? Are you actually making a movie based on this trailer, and if so, when do you expect it to be done?
