Only the once on opening day :(. I was meant to go see it with my wife but she got sick so I went with a friend. I told her I’d take her to see it when she was better but between her, my two kids and myself being sick all at seperate times, it’s been impossible to go to the movies.

I work at JB Hi-Fi in Australia and I’m fairly involved with the media side of things. If I hear any news about DoD I’ll post here. I haven’t heard any news about Disney stopping physical media releases until I read the Sanity post on this thread. I’m still holding out hope.

Finally the wait is over! Although it’s very similar to the sizzle reel, I’m so glad to be able to see the footage in HD, not to mention all the new shots in there. Let the analyzing begin!

I’ll try to avoid reviews and stay off social media the week leading up to release to not be subconsciously affected by any negativity. But regardless of all of that, I’ll see it opening day for sure, no matter what the word on the street is.

I think it’s great being able to spot new things in films you think you know like the back of your hand. I’ll never unsee it, but its’s like a little Easter egg that only a handful of people know about.

The sad thing about the film being wrapped and the release date being mid next year is that this board is going to be mighty quiet for a long time! Sure we’ll get a few bits here and there but nothing like what we’ve had over the last 8 months. Not until the marketing campaign starts.

The filming was very intense… Covid, Harrison’s injury, 8 months of filming overseas in multiple countries… It must be a huge relief for everyone to head home to their families and get to work on post-production.
