    Your Favorite Episodes

I'm now watching "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" in its entirety again for the first time in about 3 years, and tonight I got to experience the gorgeous tour de force that is London, 1916 once again. I must confess that I had forgotten about some of the finer details of the episode and the...

Music in Young Indy Locations Video

Thank you very much Attila, I didn't even notice that. But I'm just glad I finally found the piece. It really does sound like it could have come from the great John Williams.

Music in Young Indy Locations Video

Hey guys... I was looking at some Young Indiana Jones videos on youtube yesterday, and stumbled across this video that came out a couple of years ago coinciding with the DVD releases of "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones". It shows some of the amazing locations used in Young Indiana Jones...

Indy catches egg in ToD deleted scene?

I'm here once in a while, just to check up on what's going on in the world of Indiana Jones. However, I just don't see the need to contribute to the discussions most of the time, because people like Stoo are a lot more familiar with the specifics of the movies. My area of expertise is mostly...

Indy catches egg in ToD deleted scene?

Well, the one I used to one is indeed the red one that was posted already. I will be perfectly honest with you guys and tell you that I haven't followed the conversation going on here too much recently. The only thing that seems obvious is that there is a clear division of the believers and non...

Indy catches egg in ToD deleted scene?

Well, I'm a lot of things sir, but certainly not delusional, thank you very much. Granted, it's been a long time since I have seen the movie on said VHS and sadly I don't even own it anymore, because let's be honest, who still owns VHS tapes these days? But unless my memory is pulling a really...

Rest in Peace, James Gammon (Teddy Roosevelt)

It really was a great performance. We'll see how DiCaprio is gonna do in Scorsese's "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" next year. Yes, once in a while I still come by here, although since the release of KotCS and the Young Indy DVDs, things considerably slowed down on this board. It's good to...

Rest in Peace, James Gammon (Teddy Roosevelt)

James Gammon, who portrayed President Teddy Roosevelt in the wonderful episode "British East Africa, September 1909" passed away today at the age of 70. I tremendously enjoyed him in the episode and he will be dearly missed... RIP!:hat:

    The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles

Yeah, considering how many original scenes were cut from the DVD releases (like the British East Africa one, with Henry Jones Sr. greeting his friend in Oxford manner), i have no doubt that there are many rarities. That would also include the previews for each episode, some of them being really...

The Old Indy Chronicles DVD - Your opinions please?

Well, the new versions don't have the best reputation among the Old Indiana Jones fans, so generally we tend to disregard any changes made for the so-called "Adventures of Young Indiana Jones".;) In any case, you're right though. For some reason they decided to switch Journey of Radiance and...

Anyone else feel like YIJ makes up for KOTCS?

I did like KotCS. But I don't think you can compare the Indiana Jones movies with the Young Indy series. I am a true fan:p of both, and I always thought that Young Indy was completely underappreciated. So, even though I think Young Indiana Jones is great, I don't think that it actually makes, or...

    Indy, Are You Being Served?

I didn't even hate it that much. Actually, I enjoyed it imensely and was glad to see Sean Connery still looks damn good as an Action hero.

    Happy Birthday, Stoo! Great poster!

    Indy, Are You Being Served?

I never knew until recently that Courtenay was in David Lean's epic Doctor Zhivahgo and received an Oscar nomination for his performance. Great performance by him in Peacock's Eye by the way!

    Prague, August 1917

Sounds interesting. What film are you working on and did you guys talk about Young Indy?

indiana jones animated fanfilm why not??

This sounds like a very interesting project, but I'm afraid my creativity and time are quite limited. But, I would definetely vote for C. Personally I like the Clone Wars style idea, somebody mentioned already and I think a harder edged Indy would be a better title character for an animated...

    The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles

I guess I cannot repeat enough how much I appreciate all the work you put into this. To see the bookends that were sadly omitted from the DVD versions again, is indeed quite a treat and I'm glad you are willing to make the commitment. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the bookends were...

    Espionage Escapades

Another reason why I prefer the Barcelona episode. To a certain extent it's still realistic, even though there's a lot of slapstick. Glad to see there's such a big interest in this episode. Definetely the comedy highlight of Young Indiana Jones.

    Espionage Escapades

Well, the second half of "Espionage Escapades" was actually based on Franz Kafka's novels, who also appears in this episode. Even though I haven't read any Kafka, I heard the novels and this episode are quite similar in style. Personally, I have a completely different opinion about the quality...

Why take Old Indy out the equation?

Not only to you it seems. Since the George Hall segments are gone from the Young Indiana Jones DVD sets, we can assume that Lucas wanted to make sure those who haven't seen them before, would never do so. A shame, but I have said so before. I think Lucas knew that the episode format wasn't too...
