Indy-Cast Trivia II

Forgot this part...

What night of the week was it?

Spielberg tells the extras during filming that "this drinking contest
happens every friday night...it's like bingo"

Indy Trivia XXIX

Karen Allen recalls problems she had with no explanation as to why she
would change dresses while in Nazi captivity. She goes on to say that
Steven Spielberg challenged HER to come up with a plausible reason.
She and Paul Freeman put their improv experience to the test and came
up with the scene where Belloq tries to finesse information out of
her.

Having convinced her to change into a new dress, while in his tent, he
finally feeds her, and in an attempt to escape using her dinner knife,
finally runs into the hands of her captors.

Which film in another Blockbuster film trilogy, soon to be a
Quadrilogy, has a scene that can be described exactly the same
way...sans the locale?

How on Earth does this question have to do with Indiana Jones? I get the scene in question is alot like the Marion/Belloq scene, but the very question has nothing to due with Indiana Jones.

It has to do with Indiana Jones parallels, influences, homages, and plain old rip offs.

But more importantly it set up the April Fools show...

The scene in Barbossa's cabin on board The Pearl features Elizabeth in a ravishing new dress, (which coincidentally he takes back!)ravishing a plate of food and attempting to escape brandishing her dinner knife, only to be caught by waiting crewmen at the door.

Indy Trivia XXX

In Pirates of the Carribean II, Pintel and Ragetti confront Elizabeth for possession of The Dead Man's
Chest and her response pays homage to what scene in what film from what Blockbuster Tetralogy?

Pirates back to Indy Trivia

While Jack, Will and the former Commander Norrington vie for the key to The Dead Man's Chest and Elizabeth finally gives up her vain attempt to grab their attention, Pintel and Ragetti do the "decent" thing and remove temptation from their path.

As they run off with the chest giggling, Elizabeth steps in front Pintel & Ragetti who drop the chest, and pull their swords.

Elizabeth responds by reaching for her sword, only to discover it's gone. As quickly as they revert to enemies they join forces again as Davy Jones' crew comes crashing through the forest after them. While Hans Zimmer does fine work the only thing missing from this Raiders/Temple homage is some John Williams music and Keira cracking the whip!

Indy Trivia XXXI

A passing presence in all but Last Crusade and Crystal Skull, Indy's chauffeurs wore NY Yankee hats, Jock and Short Round. The back story to a character in Crystal Skull, barely touched upon in the film but fleshed out in the book, was inspired by Pete Rose. Who and How?

Ranked at number 25 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest
Baseball Players Pete Rose, AKA "Charlie Hustle" was kicked out of
baseball for gambling on games while playing for and managing the
Cincinnati Reds. After years of public denial, he admitted to betting
on, but not against, the Reds (there has never been any evidence that
he ever bet against his teams).

Mutt Williams AKA Henry Jones III's inspired tale of being thrown out
of "lot's of schools" is matter of factly offered in Crystal Skull,
while Mutt's disqualification from a fencing tournament because he was
discovered gambling on himself to win can be found in various print
media including Luceno's Ultimate Guide.

Pretty much every clue was a dead give-away. The only 2 that had me scratching my head was the Hillary clue and the Doors clue. (When the heck was he a stagehand for The Doors? 1968? Must have been some gig in L.A. somewhere...)

Thinking about the Vietnam clue now...I just realized the # of American male actors in all 4 films is very small.

The game is Call of Duty. And the reference is a revolving fireplace that reveals a secret nazi room like in Last Crusade.

Yes a Nazi Radio room!

There is another part of the game that takes from Last Crusade as well...
