The 7 Degrees Game

I remember playing this one one the raven like 3 years ago or something.

the Rules:

I give the name of an actor, you have to make your way to Harrison Ford in 7 stpes by using people who co-stared in movies. For Example:

Camerone Diaz to Harrison Ford

Camerone Diaz was in THE MASK with
Jim Carrey was in BATMAN FOREVER with Tommy Lee Jones
Tommy Lee Jones was in THE FUGITIVE with
Harrison Ford

you may use 7 different actors, including the First person and the last (Harrison Ford)

and Please try not to use IMDB or any other reference sources

Got it? Good, let's begin:

PIERCE BROSNAN TO HARRISON FORD

Joe Brody

Well-known member
What Lies Beneath -- Harrison Ford / Michelle Pfeiffer
Wolf -- Pfeiffer / Jack Nicholson
Mars Attacks -- Nicholson Brosnan

Game should only be four or five degrees.

[EDIT: unless you want to make the big stars like DiNiro/Pacino/Nicholson off-limits. With these guys these games are pretty straight-forward.]

EDIT #2: O.K. Claire Danes to Harrison Ford?

Ok, rules change

only 5 degrees, including the first and HF

uhhh, fraid I don't know who Claire Danes is, mind if I use Imdb?

That's what it's there for. I know I use it.

Another wrinkle would be to have the actors actually share a scene -- then you do need seven at times because you can't exploit big ensemble films like 'Mars Attacks!'.

Some of the other key actors in 7 degree games: Gene Hackman, Julianne Moore, Tom Cruise and somewhat surprisingly John C. Reilly.

No, I think 5 degrees is good if you have IMDB access, big ensemble casts are alright, that's what they make big movies for, just so this game will be easier

Let us write 2 unwritten rules:
1)Ask permission to use IMDB from the person who picked
2)use IMDB only when stumped and use it only to get help on 1 or 2 names, then try the rest by memory

agreed?

Claire Danes was in The Rainman with
Danny Devito was in Mars Attacks with
Glenn Cose who was in Air Force One with
Harrison Ford

geeze, it's hard with only 5 degrees

Easy one for a fan of old movies:

Bogart/Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina
Gary Grant and Hepburn in Charade
Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburne in Philadelphia Story
Katherine Hepburne and Bogart in African Queen.

LOL I made a closed loop.

(and it can be done with Brando on one side and Lauren Bacall on the other -- Bacall was in the heinous Dogville: Saving face: here's this loop in five:

Lauren Bacall and Bogart in Key Largo
Lauren Bacall and Nicole Kidman in Dogville
Kidman and Kilmer in Batman III
Kilmer and Brando in Island of Dr. Moreau
Brando and Ford in Apocalypse Now

That's five films I"ll figure out what I was trying for above and try to get it down to 4.

Let's try Lindsey Lohan

See my revision. Sorry about that. Let's still go with Lohan and I'll try to figure out what I was shooting for. I'm real smart getting Bogart back to Bogart.

I just plain got spun around -- I can only get down to four but I know it can be down in three:

(1) Again Bogart and Hepburn in Sabrina
(2) Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday
(3) Gregory Peck and Robert Duvall in To Kill a Mockingbird (frankly I don't remember Duvall)
(4) Robert Duvall and Ford in Apocalypse Now ("What's the matter young Captain? Na Trang forget all about your mission???).
