Maybe... I say maybe because its all done tongue-in-cheek. I read where Lucas said the Grail was not a great Mcguffin so he had to enhance the story with the Father/Son storyline (So even he feels like it was missing something). I just feel like it was all wham-bam-thank-you-mam, with no real story behind it. I'd place Raiders in the same line of Casablanca, a classic film with a real story that resonates with the audience. Crusade feels like cheap porn in my book; sure its fun to watch but it leaves you hollow after watching it. And my favorite character in film is
Indy, so this isn't a stab at the character just the film.
