Haha!! The first video wouldn't play (tried to download), but the second video was funny. While I don't like many of his movies (only The Rock and The Island sit on my shelf), I actually like Michael Bay and think he's a cool guy and a fine visualist.

a friend of mine told me about this and was pretty pissed at bay. I gotta say, i think my friend took it the wrong way, hes obviously just kidding, whether or not the film actually does live up to standards or not.

I'm sure plenty of Bay-haters will misinterpret this (some probably intentionally), when it's quite obvious Bay is joking. Especially in that second clip when Spielberg actually walks out just after he says it and gives him a hug. I thought it was pretty funny. :)

I think Michael Bay did a good job on Transformers. I mean... it's about giant robots from outer space, so it's hard to make believable in the first place. :p

BTW, it was also the first film I saw Shia LaBeouf in (well, technically Holes was the first I saw him in, but I had no clue who he was back then ;) ).

Gotta love him, especially the fact that he knows how to make fun of himself. Personally, I think he's a great director. I won't deny his flaws, but I won't let myself get hung up on them either.

I enjoy most of his films for what its worth, but man oh man! We've still not quite seen any of that Magic since The Rock!

Both Bay and Spielberg have directed movies that feature Sean Connery and Shia LeBouf.
