Not to be outdone, however, Netflix aims to pad out their animated offerings with a Tarzan animated series that's supposed to debut in late 2016! Currently titled Tarzan & Jane this series is aimed at older kids; the type of kids who might have enjoyed Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego!

You sure about that?

No, no I'm not. I'll give almost anything a chance, but this doesn't look very good. The animation is passable, but I'm skeptical about everything else.

It's currently playing on Netflix.

I'm also late in posting this too.

Following the Centennial of Tarzan of the Apes' publication in 1912, 2018 brings us the 100th Anniversary of the very first adaptation of Tarzan of the Apes on the silver screen!

And while there have been well over 100 adaptations brought to the silver screen, ERB, Inc. only appears to recognize 52 of them.

The Tarzan Files has a nice collection of posters and production stills, as well as a nifty write up in the precursor to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety.

Stop by the ERBZine for a run down of the production details and behind the scenes facts and trivia!

And then go demand a sequel to The Legend of Tarzan!
