Action Figures compatible with Hasbro's Indiana Jones?

LOVE IT!

That comic was seriously funny and, man, that camper is AMAZING.

At first I thought it might be playmobil, but it is way too good.

Need to find out if the company makes any other 1:18 vehicles. So far, found a mini-cooper and some diecast-y cars. Wish to heck they had some period stuff, as that is a marvelous toy.

Alas, I don't need to send my Indy figures on any anachronistic road trips (funny though they may be....)

GREAT FIND! :)

It was the camper that made me do a second take. Never seen it before, but it somehow got caught up with a Google search for images of Scooby's Camp Scare.

Found one listed on Ebay.

HOLIDAY CAMPER

Authentic camper with the scale 1:18 with friction movement drive.
The set has extensive accessories. The windows and doors can also open.
The roof can also be detatched so you can also play inside the detailed interior of the vehicle.
Length approx. 35 cm.
Made by quality plastic

There are two names on the window box: Dickie Toys and Kids Mate.

Comes with two bicycles, two chairs and the table.

I have no need for it, but it does look cool.

When I was a very little nipper I loved playing with my Fisher Price camper van!

Same here. Impressive, but not something I'd buy. I did a quick search on that name on the slim hope they might have something quasi-period. But while I found some spiffy mercedes and mini-coopers, nothing that would fit together with Indy.

How about an Airstream?

This Kickstarter is offering a full range of poseable 4? WW2 figures. They all look amazing, the Afrika Korps and Russians would seem to have the most use for Indy collectors. The company behind the Kickstarter has launched several other successful projects, and in fact they were the go-to place to get a sidecar back in 2008-2009 when we were all making custom TLC motorcycle/sidecar combos for the Hasbro figures. Only a few days left if you want to get in on it!

Those look pretty amazing. A shame the german officer doesn't have a tie, it's very close to being the perfect Dietrich body.

Thanks for sharing (and breathing life into this old corpse of a thread)! Awesome stuff. :whip:

The German officer that?s currently unlocked would make a great base for Indy in German disguise from Last Crusade. And I should note that it?s cheaper to pledge for figures through the Kickstarter than to buy them when they become available in Marauder?s store later. You can pledge for one figure or fifty. Only a few hours left if anyone wants to get on board!

The figures are going to be more than twenty bucks? Hmm. May have to pass. The delivery is nearly a year and a half away anyway. I'll just wait and see how I feel when the time comes.

They are offered a la carte on the site, so for example, the Thompson gunner comes with all that gear for $20 through the Kickstarter, but if you were to buy the figure and all that gear separately on the site, it would be more than $20.

Also, the first Russian is now unlocked.

On his latest dig, Dr. Jones makes a startling discovery.

This is starting to get out of hand

$7.99 each at Target.

These figures utilize something called photorealistic technology which results in some pretty good likenesses. My pics aren?t the greatest, but it looks like a mini Sam Neill on my desk. If Indy figures ever return, I hope Hasbro uses this technology to give us a definitive Indy headsculpt.

A complete list of the new line can be found here: http://www.jptoys.com/index.php

Side note/rant: this is why I just can?t get behind Hasbro?s 5 POA 3.75? figures. Mattel was able to field a line of 3.75? figures, with functionally the same articulation as the Indy line, for a licensed property, at basically the same price as the Indy line was 10 years ago. I don?t see why Hasbro can?t do the same for lines like Star Wars or Marvel.

Awesome job, Kevin! I've seen this figures in the stores. Ellie Satler seems to be the most difficult one to find and it's shocking there's no Malcolm (yet?).

I agree it's insane Hasbro can't offer decent articulation beyond the increasingly rare black/vintage lines which are criminally expensive now when Mattel can release these guys with accessories at a very comfortable pricepoint.

Hasbro still has these beat in terms of headsculpt quality, though. I picked up the Muldoon myself (possible Indy custom fodder, if I ever get to it.) And, if possible, I may take a crack at an Admiral Holdo figure if I can get a cheap Sattler.

But these guys definitely look great alongside Indy figures! Thanks for sharing your great pics!!

With that white suit I?m thinking Tony Montana.

Later this year Marauder is supposed to be releasing a couple suited figures, in grey and black suits. From the looks of it they will put all previously released suit figures in this scale to shame.

Managed to pick up one of those white suits. It'll either end up being parts for Belloq or a Club Obi Wan Indy.

Love that Hasbro is getting insane mileage out of that suit. And some of the parts go all the way back to Toht.

Well, here are a couple all-new figures that will go great with the Indy line*!

Jungle Cruise Reaction figures!

*notwithstanding the tragic lack of articulation and simplistic sculpting which is a hallmark of Reaction. But sometimes you gotta take what you can get. I'm thrilled to get an Emily Blunt action figure myself!

Definitely dressed for the right time period, and I could probably deal with the 5 POA thing, but I can’t bring myself to pay $18 for something with that soft of a sculpt. But I definitely agree the 3.75” options are getting slim out there.

Kevin's back! Whoooo!

I scrolled through this entire thread a week or so ago. At a certain point, it felt like it was just a dialogue between the two of us.

A lot of fun memories. It was a kick to revisit our excitement over "new" toy lines like Prince of Persia, etc., hoping to find items to build out our Indy worlds!

I don't think I ever weathered that Schleich truck, despite me talking about it endlessly. I still have it, though. Oh, well. Some projects never seem to get done.

Hi Lance! I kind of got out of the habit of checking this forum since it was down so long. I’ve been more active on the FB Indy collector’s group (where you and I have been debating the merits of the Indy w/horse figure), but I’m glad The Raven is back. Here’s hoping we can find some more compatible items, although it’s practically a 3.75” desert out there…
