According to scientists, Krystal Scull was 1896% worser than Raiders and as a stand alone film, about 2% more watchable than Mission To Moscow. Which had 25% more realistic Russian accents in it, but caused 987% less trauma to adult childhood memories.

It's time again to review franchises which became trilogies and/or reached critical lows in 2015. Peter Pan and Sherlock Holmes now have unofficial, unrelated live action prequels and sequels, so like Oz I'm tentatively including them. Not Frankenstein however (Viktor, Underworld's, Coppola's or Adam Sandler's) because it's too confusing. Also listed are franchises I missed before.

Despicable Me (55%, 2015)
Terminator (25%, 2015)
Taken (9%, 2015)
Fantastic Four (10%, 2015)
Insidious (38%, 2013)
Paranormal Activity (11%, 2015)
Transporter (17%, 2015)
Peanuts (50%, 1977)
Peter Pan (26%, 2015)
Sherlock Holmes (59%, 2011)
-------
Punisher (27%, 2008)
Pusher (47%, 2012)
Arthur (13%, 1988)
Wings of Desire (55%, 1993)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (19%, 2007)

...new lows:
Harry Potter (74%, 2016)
Ice Age (13%, 2016)

...and a tie.

And some not yet listed:

Thing (35%, 2011)
Fly (27%, 1989)

Time to drink the tears of other fans. New trilogies:
Thor (66%, 2013)
Lego (53%, 2017)
Cars (39%, 2011)
Conjuring (29%, 2014)
Pitch Perfect (29%, 2017)
Human Centipede (18%, 2015)
XXX (16%, 2005)
Smurfs (13%, 2013)
The Ring (7%, 2017)
Jeepers Creepers 3 has no score.

New lows:
Pirates of the Caribbean (29%, 2017)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (20%, 2017)

A while back The Atlantic magazine analyzed RT scores and adjusted box office and found Indy to be the greatest movie franchise of all time.

Totally Money finds the same. Plenty of graphs and tables to sift through here.

Shortly after this article was written, however, came Harry Potter 7 part 1, "the one in the tent," which despite the promised high body count concluded with a funeral for a mole rat.
Absolutely obliterated that movie with a single sentence. 😆

Also, in what world does the Toy Story franchise have a 74% film? Even the weakest film (the 4th) is at 96% top critics and 97% overall.
