I did come up with a list of alternative titles, but you chose to not try and decipher them, choosing instead to derail your own thread. :/

Maybe I'm just a bad Indiana Jones fan, but I have no idea what you lot are opening your mouths about when it comes to this The Doors reference, or whatever.
Watch the video that Dr. Gonzo posted above + check out this thread: Harrison Ford and The Doors

"Raiders on the Storm"

hehehe
"Kriegers of the Lost Ark".

Why?
- It means "Warriors of the Lost Ark"
- A tip o' the hat to Robby Krieger (who, as some folk may not know, was the guitarist for The Doors).

:)

If I read the word, "trope", here at The Raven one more time, I'm going to puke.

Alternate Film Title:
"Raymanzarek-ders of the Lost Ark"

Just in case anybody misses the reference...Ray Manzarek was the keyboardist for The Doors. (R.I.P. a couple of months ago)

In Pulp Serial tradition ROTLA could simply have been King of the Archaeologists.

Following the pattern of Ralph Byrd's Dick Tracy:

Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones Returns
Indiana Jones' Quest
Indiana Jones vs. Evil Empire

Nice ones. Speaking of love, if Indiana Jones was a Volkswagen Beetle...

Raiders of the Love Bug
Indie Rides Again
Indie Goes to Alexandretta
Indie Goes Bananas

I love it! (y)

When I was looking at the Dick Tracy titles I considered Flash Gordon, but they were more suited to KOTCS.

Indiana Jones' Trip to Mars (Indiana Jones and the Saucermen from Mars)

Indiana Jones Conquers the Universe (surviving an atomic bomb was a good start)

The titles of the first 4 MGM Tarzan movies work because both Weissmuller's Tarzan and Indy get a son in their 4th film:

Indiana Jones, the Whip Man
Indiana Jones and His Noisy Mate
Indiana Jones Escapes the Nazis
Indiana Jones Finds a Son

Love the Herbie references Stoo, who knew that series matched up with Indy so well.

Here's a few:
Indiana Jones and the Secret of Tanis
Indiana Jones and the Curse of Kali
Indiana Jones and the Canyon of the Crescent Moon
Indiana Jones and the Kings of Akator

Indiana Jones and the Wrath of God (I really like this one, mostly because it evokes "Wrath of Khan" in my mind)

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (because, y'know, it's already perfect:D )

Indiana Jones and the Carpenter's Cup (I know, kind of ruins the twist)

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Gods (really wanted to keep that word 'kingdom' as it sounds great)

If you wanna go old school like Stoo and some of our other notable locals

INDIANA JONES and the BLACK SLEEP

I was thinking like "The Big Sleep" but I guess that doesn't really apply

Indiana Jones and the Thieves of God
Indiana Jones and the Forsaken Palace
Indiana Jones and the Last Knight
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Raiders of Pankot Palace
Raiders of Eternal Life
Raiders of the Eternal City

In both formats, but honestly the only title I'd change if I could would be ToD's. It sounds kinda cheesy to me.
