Hey...

I'm a big pop culture and sociology buff, and I was wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of films produced from 1966 to 1978 which show especially showcase the culture (hairstyles, clothes, music, cars etc) of the time.
It'd be appreciated.

Well seeing as ResidentAlien already beat me to Pink Flamingos...

Shampoo.

WATCH IT. NOW.

Yeah man, Pink Flamingos, a little Baltimorian pride for me.

Hey, my Film1 professor works for and is very close friends with John Waters... almost met the man on several occasions.

The Graduate - 1967. It contrasts the different attitudes of the then-modern generation and its elder generation. Also, its soundtrack uses Simon and Garfunkel music.

Saturday Night Fever. The clothes, the music AND the hairstyles are what this movie is famous for. Didn't everyone wear a white suit with flared trousers, nicely complimented with a black shirt? I did and I was only six years old.
