I have a friend that lives in Virginia who recently sold his house in a gated country comunity to buy a townhouse in... town (so that instead of having to drive 25 minutes for smokes, ect. he now lives less than a mile from everything).
Blow one came when the guys who were supposed to do his wireing in his new house screwed up and he had to have it redone. Then after he moved into his town house a HUGE "tree care" truck hit his old house wich he is trying to sell and did a number on his garage. The driver either didnt notice or saw and took off. Great...
Then the other night I called him and just 25 minutes before... he had hit a deer... Bamby did about $2000 worth of damage to the front of his Volvo and left a bunch of crap on his hood. the deer got up and ran off and luckly my friend wasn't hurt but damn he wanted to kill that beast!
Hello all,
Well, I haven't been gone long, but already my avatar has been taken.
No problem Gear Guardian............... it's all yours......
But anyway, I myself just recently had a rather bad experience with a deer.
It impacted the side of my car (at a rather high speed) and caused more than $2000 damage.
But you know what? Despite my finiancial misfortunate experience, I'm just glad that there are still enough wild creatures in the world that they can actually come and hit my car on the highway.
Sorry about the avatar Monkey and about your car. My friend told me that over in Virginia they are having a problem with over population in deer but yeah, I'm glad there are still some left.... Not to hit ofcoarse!
