Rocket is fine & O.K. & alive & well.
The theatrical showings might have been found by setting up a Google Alert (or something similar).
Hi,
just noticed that Raiders of the Lost Ark will be shown in IMAX for one week only, Sept 7 - 13, 2012 in Regal IMAX theaters. Maybe other IMAX theaters ?? http://www.regmovies.com/imax/
Perhaps since they are coming out with Indy on BluRay Sept 18, they have better quality digital "prints" available, which may show well on an IMAX screen.

Nothing tenuous about any of that - as it happens, the IMAX screenings of Raiders of the Lost Ark are indeed happening at other, non-Regal IMAX locations (such as AMC), and the AMC marathon is indeed, firmly, definitely happening - behold!

The IMAX re-release of Raiders of the Lost Ark lasts for one week starting on September 7th
For one day only, AMC is bringing you Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at participating AMC theaters on September 15th.

Right. There are IMAX screenings of just Raiders for one full week, Sept. 7 to Sept. 13, and then on the 15th AMC theaters are running "regular" (non-IMAX) presentations of all four movies together.

I'll ask again if you could/would be so kind to keep commentary / opinion and redundancy out of the showtimes thread...it really gums things up for those of us who just want to see where and when the films are screening, and there are many many threads currently active (!) to talk. Thanks.

I second that. Welcome back, Rocket! (I correctly predicted the exact date of your return.)
Thanks Stoo, I had a feeling you'd still be here...
...and thanks for the quality post, now if half of the people walking the halls posted where they'll be watching, (and a nice little pic of the theater) the Showtimes thread would be cracking!
Wouldn't mind the commentary so much if it came after a post of an upcoming show...
Oh, this is where I'll be seeing it first...I might catch a show in NYC too.
