Didn't really like it. But still worthy of a spot in the top ten (harder than i thought!)

What about the one with Raquel Welch in a fur bikini?

There are some other mediocre entries I can think of, but they'd only make the top ten as a last resort...

You're correct. Henry Jones Sr. was born in Scotland. I forgot about that!

Also, I never seen Cutthroat Island or Swiss Family Robinson.

G.I. Joe? Seriously? Meaning, they made a G.I. Joe movie? Oh, wait, you mean that abominable piece of crap with a G.I. Joe title? That's about as Joe-worthy as "The Quickening" is Highlander-worthy.

Cutthroat Island. You'll love it or hate it. There's many great things with it, and many terrible ones. It's kind of like Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings, in that some view it was wonderful, others as Ed Wood could have done better. I guess you have a 50/50 chance with it.

Ha! Connery is a Scotsman whoever he's playing - be it English, Russian, Irish or American! In The Last Crusade he got to play himself, and did a rather fine job of it.

Austin Powers had 'Fat Bastard' the Scotsman.

Indy isn't Scottish

A neat idea, Indy being Scottish due to Connery as his father, but I'm pretty sure Indy as an all-American boy. Connery just didn't need to bother with an American accent because the Indy films, like Star Wars, are deliberately made to be expensive B-movies, and thus they don't worry about stuff like that. But given what Indy stands for, what he was created for, I'd say he's the ultimate American action hero.

No, Indy played a Scotsman with a "sniffle" in Castle Brunwald in The Last Crusade!
