I'm gonna pick up Bioshock as well soon. Local toy store has it for 20 euros, which is a bargain (other stores are still selling it for 40 euros, though) if you ask me! Played the demo a while back and I was quite amazed at the great design

You won't be disappointed in Bioshock. Great game design, beautiful graphics, awesome story, and one of the best twists ever!

Oh, and I started on Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
I beat the game once before, but the game is so great that I had to do another play-through before the sequel hits on the 27th of October.

If you love GREAT games I urge you to pick this gem up and also it's sequel (Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time) when it is released.

I just bought Mega Man II, Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, and Metroid for my NES. I haven't played them in years. They're still sooooooo much fun.

Well, in the past few weeks I have beaten Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
I have beaten those before, and the games were just as good as when I first played them.

I'm now working on Assassin's Creed.
I am loving this game so far. If anyone likes history during the times of the Crusades, secret assassin guilds, and hidden corruption from the Templars. This game may be right up your alley.

Congrats on beating Uncharted! I want to get my second run finished by the time Among Thieves comes out. Incidentally, october 16 is also the release date for Brutal Legend. I think my girlfriend and I are going to have to flip coins about who gets to play which game first, since they're both gonna be flipping awesome Oh, that reminds me, the Brutal Legend demo was released today! Can't wait to try it out!

And I have yet to touch Assassin's Creed! Can't seem to find the time to play these days!

I also want both Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend on the 13th of October.
But, about the Brutal Legend demo. If you have not pre-ordered the game at Gamestop, you can't access the demo until next week.
Don't quote me on that, but that's what I've been hearing.

Too tempting

Seems a bit of a strange thing to do. I haven't read anything about such a thing today. I'll be sure to give it a try tomorrow though!

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/30/br...y-demo-access/

Read the link.
Pre-orders also get an in-game guitar. I hate this trend of pre-order bonuses. What is stupid, is that they get the demo early. It looks like Double Fine and EA would want to get the demo out to as many people as possible as soon as they can.

Well, since we don't have a GameStop here in the Netherlands (or anywhere else in Europe for that matter) something like that would be fairly retarded to be honest.. So I don't know until I DL the demo tomorrow on whether it works or not..

No wait, I checked it and it gets even better.. We're not even having it up for download today; in Europe they're not releasing it on Xbox Liveand PSN until... NEXT WEEK!

So I guess we both have to wait in that respect then

I'm working on finishing Season One of Sam & Max on the Wii. I love this series and I'm glad I finally have the time to sit down and play through more of the episodes.

Video game wise? Nothing at the moment, although I have been playing some online Catan at http://games.asobrain.com.

I've been in the market for a SEGA Genesis with the classic Sonic games to resurrect memories of my childhood. The countless re-releases that the games have had on nearly every platform possible just don't authentically produce the nostalgic feeling I'm after. Only a blow-worthy cartridge combined with a classic Genesis 3-button controller will do that.

I finally got Batman: Arkham Asylum. I would be playing that, but my wife is hogging it at the moment.

Which system are you playing it on?
I owned it when it was first released (on the Sega Dreamcast). It is, and most likely will remain my favorite Resident Evil game, and I have played them all so far.

I finally bought it last week too! I beat it twice so far. And now I'm getting the riddles and doing the challenge maps. Fantastic game. One of the best representations of Batman in ANY medium. My favorite part? One word: SCARECROW. His "sequences" are astounding.

Give your wife a dose of "Bat-nap" and get playin' Lonsome! You're missing out, man!
