Reenactor Fest

A few weekends ago, I was presenting at a convention of historical reenactors in Chicago (www.reenactorfest.com), and I happened to notice a fellow there who was dressed in what looked like pretty accurate IndyGear. I didn't get the chance to get up close, and only saw him once ("he'll blend in, disappear; you'll never see him again"), but it would have been nice to chat with him. He certainly cut a unique profile, being surrounded by Roman centurions, Anglo-Saxon peasants, Elizabethan soldiers, Civil War generals, and WW2 paratroopers (to name just a few). Anybody here have any idea who he might have been?
