2006 Indiana Jones Fan Survey

I've had this idea for a while now and I decided to try it. I figured we could have a small Indy survey for fans here and see what everyone thinks. We have a wealth of both new and old members and this might be an interesting and fun way to get to know everyone better and hear their views on the films and their personal prefereneces. Plus, it might be neat to look back on this six months or a year from now and see if any of our preferences or thoughts changed. You don't have to list reasons for your choices but feel free to do so if you want.

I've also listed choices for some of the questions below, but if you have another answer that I didn't mention feel free to include it. Also, feel free to ask any of your own questions if you come up with any.

1. What Indy film features your favorite poster art?
Definitely The Temple of Doom. But I really like the bottom of the Last Crusade where it has Indy on a horse aiming a gun at you.

c.) Fight on the tank in Last Crusade

Those were all good chases scenes, but I'm going with the truck chase from Raiders. The motorbike chase was just too short.

All good sidekicks and don't forget Sallah. I gotta say Short Round.

I liked a lot of the comic books and I only read two novels, one was the Genesis Deluge and the other was The Last Crusade. I liked The Last Crusade Better.
12. And last of all, what's your favorite Indy film?
That's tough. I know I like The Temple of Doom more than most people. I liked the action sequences in Last Crusade, but Raiders had a nice flow to it. It's too close to call for me.

Raiders has the best score but they quality is low and the sound isn't so full. fortunately, there is a good "cover" conducted by Nic Raine that i happen to own.

Temple comes close but it isn't so "exciting". in fact, i just think that LC stands out as the worst.

7. What's your favorite Indiana Jones video game?

The Fate Of Atlantis. One of the best games i know.

after this you would expect that it is easy for me to say "Raiders" (and in fact i really think it's the best one) but LC is almost on the same level for the best humor in the trilogy, the best effects and the most interesting ideas (hitler and the diary, the invisible bridge, ... )

I've never had the chance to read any of the comics but I've read the novels and, while I thought all of them were great, Indiana Jones and the Genesis Deluge is probably my favorite.

I love all three films dearly but Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is my favorite.

The worst Indy moment:
Beyond doubt, that wretched comic book opening to Crusade - the "Indy's psychology, visage and habits formed in 30 seconds" drivel. I wonder if the whole horrid opening was forced by the studio executives. I hear they like such idiotic, useless and destructive exposition, the "duh, me want know the character background, duh, me want know where character from, duh" syndrome...
