High-Quality Fate of Atlantis Soundtrack

This is my 1st post on the forum, so hello to everyone.

I found another version of the FOA soundtrack, by a composer called Rob DM. I've listened to all the tracks, and they are good recreations of the originals.

Check out the following link, the site seems a bit slow, and doesn't always load up the pages, but if you refresh a few times, it works:

Let me know what you think.

From what I understand, they have been recreated using high quality instruments on a computer, to simulate an orchestra.

They aren't quite orchestra quality though.

I have this soundtrack, and I love the labyrinth of knossos track! It sounds so eerie, desperate and really get the sense of either finding your way out of this underground labyrinth, or dying of starvation! Especially the 50 seconds plus portion of it. Also, has a bit of a Last Crusade vibe to it :)

I really like Outring of Atlantis 2 as well! The "drumming" is so eerie and the "harp" also, is great! Imaging this as a movie, along with Sophia, in the worn down areas of Atlantis, gives me goosebumps!

And, the room of the god machine (before it is active) is also, so fitting, and would have been great in the movie!:)

Pink Floyd's influence on FoA sountrack?

I was just listening to a bunch of Pink Floyd tunes, and I noticed some very similar instrumental melodies, particularly between FoA's "Atlantis" themes and Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." Has anyone else made a similar connection?

I was listening to a podcast which opened with the song below; about 4.5 seconds in it sounds uncannily reminiscent of something from the FoA soundtrack. Agree/disagree?

Also, AlivePoet, I absolutely see where you're coming from on the "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" comparison.

Sounds like Modern Major-General. Kevin Kline was in Pirates of Penzance.

Yeah, I get that, but that second, 2 seconds, bit at the point I mentioned set off my Fate of Atlantis "Fighting Theme" alarm bells immediately.
