Old news the studios signed them up for 3 movies its just what they do, it doesnt mean they are going to get made. Also this should be in the INDY V EVERYTHING thread.

i'd love a more grounded flick. dealing with Indy still the draw with mutt as a sidekick. by the end i would maybe have a passing of the torch

i've found most people who didn't like 4, still wouldn't mind a 5. "leaving jones alone" is kinda meh to me. i love them to death, but they aren't like "sacred" or something. i always welcome more adventures.

I liked Indy 4. Indy 5 would be nice. But it NEEDS Ford in the lead, a different group to follow him (like an adventure away from home), Great Action, Awesome stunt, cool Macguffin and great gruesome deaths!

I like Mutt and have no problem with Shia LaBeouf, but an Indy film with anyone other than Harrison Ford as the lead would be a HUGE MISTAKE, and career suicide for Shia.

you can't bring indy back for just one movie. at leaaast two. plus it'd be a shame to end with a good number not being happy with it.

Indiana Jones V: Trio Villains

I had an idea for Indiana Jones V (which I'm working into my fan novel of Indy 5)... why not have 3 villains instead of 1? Here's my idea...

Chinese Double-Crosser (Lao Che's son) - Ric Young
Han (come up with the name myself) is a grave robbing, treasure hunter who follows Indy and Shorty (who's now an archaeologist) through the ruins of the Great Wall searching for the diamond of the Peacock's eye, which has been placed in a secret Socialist treasure cache. Han leaks secret communist documents to Indy (revealing it's location) and then secretly follows him so that he can kill Indy and make off with the diamond. (This is the beginning of the film)

Russian Captain - Matthew Marsden
This communist, Russian captain hunts down Indy and Lao Che's son (Han) during their search for (no named Biblical artifact - I don't want to disclose until I'm finished with my story) Indy and Han are kind of like Indy and Belloq... and Ivan (Russian captain) is chasing both, hoping to kidnap them and get to the treasure... he also has help from someone else...

Cuban Soldier - Carmine Giovinazzo
Helping Ivan hunt Indy and Han is this Cuban soldier, Daniel

i think a great intro would be one similar to Raiders, cept Indy is with Mutt. and they get there to see other people already there. enemy archaeologists or russians. maybe in africa. Indy hasn't really gone to africa yet.

If you are asking for two more sequels...

You are asking for a bit too much kids... and when I say kids I mean that harrison fords age is a clear factor in this. It took about 17 years for the big 3 to all agree on a script. You guys really want to see Indiana Jones 17 more years from now at age 80? And even if that did happen you would like to cap it with one more? I think even if they had it all together, on average it takes at least 3 years between sequels to get made. Steven already has his next 2 movies planned out for him (one of them being "Lincoln"). Lets be realistic here.

That's where the idea of Mutt being the main character and Indy being the follower (who's role is just as big as Mutt's)... he doesn't HAVE to do a bunch of stunts in Indy V... all he has to do is be there and have his input on things.

Sounds like a bag of ****e mate. May as well join a forum talking about hopes for a Mummy 4. Mutt 2 just isn't Indiana Jones. End of.
