Are there scenes in movies that you think on there own could be a short film of sorts? Ofcourse the opening adventures of Indiana Jones or James Bond fall into this category, but any others?
For me, two scenes from the Coen Bros. A Serious Man stand out: first, the opening sequence spoken entirely in Yiddish, and secondly (as well as my favorite part of the film) the Goy's Teeth story... (the embedding has been disable on both, so just follow the links)
