why they got rid of him is a mystery to me.

They didn't get rid of him. He was working on other projects.
I hope he returns for the two parts of number 7.

What are you talking about? The opening to Goblet of Fire was my favorite of all the Harry Potter themes.

Even though Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite score of the series, I prefer both the scores of Order of the Phoenix and Goblet of Fire over Williams' work on the first two films. I think Hooper's work on Order of the Phoenix was excellent and very underrated, and I'm looking forward to his score for Half-Blood Prince.

I like all the scores, but I think Williams should return for DH. Either him or Howard Shore...
