Perfect Indy song?

Have you ever heard a song that reminded you of Indy?

I heard a song the other day that made me think of Indy and Marion a bit, from Indy's point of view..

(Roamer)
Hello, I'm coming at your town again
How's about a night, how's about a flight supernova
I know, that I've been kinda hot and cold
But you never go away, no matter what I say
In the moments

Chorus
My metors running low
I've been moving everywhere
Spreading out my wings, trying everything
But that's over, cause when I'm on my own
Waking up with someone new
It never feels the same, I'm mixing up their name
It's like a roamer

Goodbye, I'm going on the road again
But I'm bringing you along
In each and every song, lucky clover
And I, I always wanna see your face
Cause looking in your eyes, is where I see my life
When I'm older

Repeat chorus

Like a roamer, like a roamer

Mississippi, Tenessee, Argentina, NYC,
California, Mexico, like a roamer
Russia, San Francisco Bay, Made it to the UK
Round the world in 80 days
Like a roamer

When I go away, don't wanna go away
Don't wanna go away, don't wanna go away
Don't wanna go away, don't wanna go away

Repeat chorus X 2

Mississippi, Tenessee, Argentina, NYC,
California, Mexico, like a roamer
Russia, San Francisco Bay,Made it to the UK
Round the world in 80 days
Like a roamer

Me and the Devil Blues by Robert Johnson seems like the kinda song Jones might listen to under his hat and a shot while having some quite downtime and reflecting. But I can't say as there's a song that reminds me of him.

One song that for some reason reminds me of particularly Indy and Marion is "You belong to Me" by Jason Wade. The song mentions pyramids along the Nile and marketplaces and other exotic locales.

"See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sun rise
From the tropic isle
Just remember darling
All the while
You belong to me
See the market place
In old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
Just remember
When a dream appears
You belong to me

And I'll be so alone without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too

Fly the ocean
In a silver plane
See the jungle
When it's wet with rain
Just remember till
You're home again
You belong to me

Oh I'll be so alone without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too

Fly the ocean
In a silver plane
See the jungle
When it's wet with rain
Just remember till
You're home again
You belong to me"

As you can see a great connector for Raiders and KOTCS, Indy and Marion. Perfect.

I forgot the title track 'Love an Adventure' by 80's Aussie band Pseudo Echo from 1985. It even has a Sallah soundbyte in it....

Hey, Violet, don't know that one but here's a song for you Ravenettes. Picture Marion singing it while holding the Ra headpiece near the fire or in the back of the truck in "Skull" (thinking about Abner or Colin, respectively).

Indiana wants me. Lord, I can't go back there.
Indiana wants me. Lord, I can't go back there.
I wish I had you...to talk to.

Forget the verses because they're about a guy on the run from state police...but the chorus is catchy enough that I guarantee you'll be singing it to yourself (and thinking about Dr. Jones/Marion).

Indiana Wants Me - R. Dean Taylor (1971)

There is a song that most of you probably won't know it's called like "Raiders March" or something like that. It's actually pretty catchey;)

There was an old Christian punk band named Lugnut that wrote a song called "Jones Chronicles" that was all about the Indy films and how they wished they had made more. It was pretty awesome and it even began with a brief guitar version of the Raiders March.:)

CASTAWAYGreen Day

I'm on a sentimental journey
Into sight and sound
Of no return and no looking back or down

A conscientious objector to the
War that's in my mind
While leaving in the lurch and I'm
Taking back what's mine

I'm on a mission
Into destination unknown
An expedition
Into desolation road
Where I'm a...

Castaway - goin' at it alone
Castaway - now I'm on my own
Castaway - goin' at it alone
Castaway - now I'm on my own
Lost and found, trouble bound
Castaway

I'm riding on the night train and
Driving stolen cars
Testing my nerves out of the boulevard
Spontaneous combustion in the
Corners of my mind
While leaving in the lurch
And I'm taking back what's mine

"Raiders Indy" in green shows how truly badass he was.

A few remind me of him:

-Man of La Mancha (I, Don Quixote)
CERVANTES
May I set the stage? I shall impersonate a man.
Come, enter into my imagination and see him!
His name... Alonso Quijana... a country squire,
no longer young... bony, hollow-faced... eyes
that burn with the fire of inner vision. Being
retired, he has much time for books. He studies
them from morn to night and often through the
night as well. And all he reads oppresses him...
fills him with indignation at man's murderous
ways toward man. And he conceives the strangest
project ever imagined... to become a knight-errant
and sally forth into the world to right all
wrongs. No longer shall he be plain Alonso Quijana...
but a dauntless knight known as -
Don Quixote de La Mancha!

DON QUIXOTE
Hear me now
Oh thou bleak and unbearable world,
Thou art base and debauched as can be;
And a knight with his banners all bravely unfurled
Now hurls down his gauntlet to thee!
I am I, Don Quixote,
The Lord of La Mancha, þ
My destiny calls and I go,
And the wild winds of fortune
Will carry me onward,
Oh whithersoever they blow.
Whithersoever they blow,
Onward to glory I go!

SANCHO PANZA
I'm Sancho! Yes, I'm Sancho!
I'll follow my master till the end.
I'll tell all the world proudly
I'm his squire! I'm his friend!

DON QUIXOTE
Hear me, heathens and wizards
And serpents of sin!
All your dastardly doings are past,
For a holy endeavor is now to begin
And virtue shall triumph at last!

(Don Quixote and Sancho Panza mount their horses and set out along a road)

DON QUIXOTE
I am I, Don Quixote,
The Lord of la Mancha,
My destiny calls and I go,
And the wild winds of fortune
Will carry me onward,
Oh whithersoever they blow!
SANCHO
I'm Sancho! Yes, I'm Sancho!
I'll follow my master till the end.
I'll tell all the world proudly
I'm his squire! I'm his friend!

DON QUIXOTE, SANCHO
Whithersoever they blow,
Onward to glory I {we} go!

And then Anything Goes (1988 BDWY version), and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

Jones is a jazz man, who enjoys some blues, me thinks.

Maybe some blackened grind metal, too...
