I live in southern CA, and my sideshow exclusive Belloq with chamber set arrived in the mail today! Woo hoo! It's an amazing set. Sorry about the low quality of these pics, they're just cell phone snapshots of him added to the display:

Well I hit up some local comic shops today and managed to track down the Diamond Select Prop Replica Fertility Idol bank on my first stop! Really happy with it, it's a great piece for a great price. Was a little surprised at how hefty it was too, I expected it to be made of a thinner plastic.

Agreed. I really like this bank too. I wish it was more like $14.99 but I can live with $19.99. A must have for this Indy fan.

I made one last run to WalMart (1$-5$) and Toys R us (5$)
Piked up some more Ughas x8 and Germans x2 and Cario Henchman x2 and Indy w/ Ark x2 and Sallah!!!

A Troopcar box bent out of a shape but still got it 13$!!!:hat:

Lucky, I've been looking all over for the troop car, but all I have found are Jungle Cutters and Cargos. My Wally has the vehicles down to 9 bucks.

My Exclusive Belloq is on the way.

Indy is screaming to be posed on that pedestal.

"Maybe.Not Today". Is the hat flexible? Can you straighten the brim of his hat? Are you happy with the likeness. If you don't mind, give us a little revue. Likes, dislikes??? Is the idol removable?

I was wondering why the hell did Bellosh come with the Idol envrioment and not Indy? Indy's exclusive item was the flipping torch right? You would think the idol area would go waaaaaaaaaay better with Indy than some guy in a white suit.

My Birthday

My parents got me the fertility idol bank, Spalko, and the troop car for my 18 b-day today! They are going to try and order the temple of doom set off line for me as well as the sideshow Indy. Great parents huh?:D We stopped at our nearest comic book store and they had the generic sideshow Indy for $120 what a rip off!

dude, how many people do you think bought Belloq just for that Idol set for their Indy? How many of those people would have passed on Belloq if he didn't come with it? It's Brilliant marketing. Too bad the figure's paint apps suck as usual. I don't even want to display mine.

Well, well, well what do we have here? Now if I were a betting man, I would say you ordered Belloq at Comic-Con. But I'm not.

Just got my 12" Ark. Wow that thing is nice for Hasbro! The outer box got a little crushed coming through the mail and all but the inside had no problems. Now my Indy has something to search for. Still waiting for that happy card that says my crystal skeleton is on backorder or whatever. I am crossing my fingers.

Not at home right now so I don't remember how flexible the hat was. I'm pretty sure it was a fairly soft plastic. Not sure if all the hats will look like that or if the brim on mine was just a little bent from the way it sat in the packaging. The likeness is great. Spot on. I've always wanted a toy of belloq in his suit w/ hat and this really doesn't disappoint at all. My only criticisms are: 1. that the face of the watch is a sticker( careful taking the watch out by the way, mine came flying out of the package and after spending the better part of twenty minutes looking for the tiny thing I finally found it with the chain completely tangled.)
And: 2. that (like most sideshow pieces) the faux leather bits (belt, gun strap) seem like they're gunna break if I look at them funny.

But really over all this is an awesome figure.

It's not possible to give enough praise to the sideshow exclusive set piece that comes with. It's a beautifully detailed piece, not to mention hefty, and the bottom seems to have some sort of material that keeps it from scratching surfaces it's placed on.

The Idol is removable and heavy! I know that's a strange thing to say, but I was expecting it to be a light little piece of plastic and was very pleasantly surprised to find it had a realistic heft to it.

Can't wait to hear what other people think as they start to arrive. I love the figure and now just have to wait for some free time to have more fun with it.

BuiltFordTough, you're just bitter that I dragged you back and forth between the Sideshow booth and the Dr Who booth for the better part of comic con.:p

I can't wait for this to arrive. I'm glad that you're satisfied with the figure.
The removable Idol is a plus. I agree with your comment on the watch. Overall it sounds like I won't be dissapointed. Hopefully Sideshow will continue this line and give us some more Raiders characters before they move on to the other movies.

I just received a newsletter from Sideshow. A very limited number of Exclusive Belloq figure have become available to Sideshow newsletter members. This figure has been sold out for awhile now so if anyone missed out and wants the Idol w/Pedestal now's the time to order.
If you haven't signed up for the newsletter, do it. It's free and you get advance notice for specials, deals and new figures.
