Those are very cool, Tash. Thanks for the links! The Pancho Villa train showcase is certainly the best. The guy even included the Japanese cinematographers at the very back of the display. All around BRILLIANCE! (Cool to see Young Indy getting recognition in this manner.)(y)

Hah, nice. I just watched this episode recently. It was the first Young Indiana Jones episode I've seen, though. I'm hoping to catch more of it soon.

Young Indy's Brick Adventures continue:

And then a flash forward to France, 1944:

("Indy and a V2" is awesomesauce; I have similar visuals in my head for a zombie/nazi/moon-base Indy story. Can't wait for http://www.ironsky.net/)

Major kudos to Brian Williams!

PS: LEGO Catherine Zeta Jones is teh hot!

Ah, the wonders of Lego! Those images are truly inspirational.

I'm currently rediscovering my childhood love for Lego building having acquired several large boxes of mixed bricks, including Star Wars parts and figures, plus a boxed almost complete Indy Lost Temple. Love can soon turn to frustration, though, when you find you're a few pieces short. I always remember saying as a kid, "I need more Lego". (No matter how much you have, you always need more!)

Nice. The smoke and fire is so creatively done that I thought they were fake grapes!:D Can't wait to see his Part III.

One small problem in the caption though:

This diorama includes both tanks featured in this Young Indiana Jones episode: The British Mark V (green) and a Fiat 3000b (tan - portraying a French M17)
France was not involved in the Battle of Gaza so the Fiat could not have been meant to portray a French tank. (The shots which use the Italian vehicles are from the film, "Lion of the Desert", which is about Italy's campaign in Libya.)

I love these creations!

To quote myself from several months ago:

I'm currently rediscovering my childhood love for Lego building having acquired several large boxes of mixed bricks, including Star Wars parts and figures, plus a boxed almost complete Indy Lost Temple. Rediscover childhood love of Lego: check.

Love turns to frustration: check.

I need more Lego: check

No matter how much you have, you always need more: check.

Well, I have acquired more boxes. I even acquired Indy, Henry Sr. and Marion, not too mention Jabba and a bunch of other Star Wars characters. Yet, there's the frustration that all these boxes are a mass of odd pieces.

Completing Lego as per instructions is becoming very addictive - as opposed to letting my imagination run wild as with the images of Indy-inspired creations shown in this thread.

So, infuratingly I'm still a few pieces short for Indy's Lost Tomb; and a lot short for Jabba's Sail Barge...
