Indiana Jones Sightings and Fluff News

Sometimes unintentionally funny, interesting and slightly erotic Interview with Ford over here.

The silence becomes awkward again, filled with unasked questions and a rearranging of barriers. He wobbles about in his chair. His black shirt skims his body, showing off his shape, which is lithe and strong. He looks good not just for 65, but just good. He holds back his emotions in such an obvious way; anger, pain, self-righteousness and fear of being judged are all set out there in front of us. Now he is sitting in a squashed up position doing something strange and tense with his arm. His eyes dart the room and then back to me. He softens. (...)

Oh. And there's a tiny little spoilerish spot if he starts talking about stunts. Just skim this part if you worry about that kind of stuff.

Promotional material ... also counting down in Italy at the movie theaters...

Ciao folks,

My Erasmus semester here in Bologna is speeding up. While strolling home from doing groceries, enjoying my kebab sandwich (yeah i can do two things at a time (y) ), I noticed for the first time a huge banner on my nearby 'Capitol' movie theater. I just thought you guys might have liked a look...

P.S. This was the first time ever I saw a huge Indy banner like that. Although it's in Italian I almost spit out the kebab I was chewing, although I kinda expected a poster or something being present there already. I was born in '84 and never got to see Last Crusade in theaters actually (or see any promotional stuff), so the advertisement thing now is really...new to me since the trilogy was first released on DVD... and now this !! O yeah !!

I snapped these at EuroDisney/Disneyland Paris this past weekend. It's one of the first things people
see entering Disney Village and is a pleasure to behold!(y)

I saw this very cool cardboard standup last night at the theater! I have never seen a Struzan in cut out/standup fashion, let alone so huge! If only I could have smuggled it out, and it was right by the door too!LOL

Sorry for the fuzziness, I took the pic with my phone.

the theater i work at just got one of these. i put it together and then my manager told me we weren't getting the film (we are an art theater) so just like the banner that came out a month ago, this is now mine :)

In the recent May issue of Nickelodeon magazine, the poster for Indy's there. There is also a contest involving a dog ( ... ) and if you win you get The complete Adventures of Indiana Jones DVD w/ all dvds & Young Indy Chronicles 1 &2.

Also comes with some Nick stuff but that I don't care for. The winners will be announced November which I heard is when the DVD for KOTCS is supposed to come out,

But DaFedora, your pics didn't show up for me

Hmmm... I posted them on eSnips, and the links ought to be stable. I had this problem before... I guess I'll move them to my Photobucket account and show them again here... hold on I'll try and fix it...

No matter the language, this title will never grow up in me.

"Indiana Jones ja kristallikallon valtakunta"

The French one doesn't sound bad... (to a guy who speaks naught of French). Swedish... horrendous. The Blasted Nordic Jabber... no comment.

Here in downtown San Francisco around Market Street we have these tall cylinders that I have no idea what they're for but ads are put on them and there are a couple of posters for the new Indy movie were put up last week:

Does anyone know if the History channel is going to have shows related to Indy 4? Everytime there's a big movie they usually have shows about the real history behind them (like The DaVinci Code, 300, Troy, Gangs of New York, etc.). Plus Young Indy has been on History too.

I would expect Lucas to have produced shows about the skulls or the City of Gold myth.
