Bowie's last music video, published just this past Thursday, is haunting. He knew the end was near. Brilliant artist. RIP to a legend.

We seem to have reached the age where life stops giving us things and starts taking them away.

Lou Reed, (last year) Lemmy, Bowie DANG! Lock up Iggy pop now!

(Keith Richards is free to go)

Whenever these big-name musicians pass on, I always feel like people exaggerate the impact their music had on their life. I never cared for Bowie's music, nor will I ever. I guess we all have our own tastes though.

But a new RIP for the day - Brian Bedford, the voice of Disney's Robin Hood. Fond memories of watching that underrated classic!

First Natalie Cole, then Bowie, now Alan. It really does come in threes...

More than three so far this year. David Margulies, the mayor in Ghostbusters passed. Also, Richard Libertini who was in Fletch passed away too. What a lousy start to the year.

RIP Alan Rickman.

In Die Hard he put in one of the best villain performances ever IMO in one of the best action films ever.

http://www.theguardian.com/film/201...-giant-of-british-film-and-theatre-dies-at-69

And three years later he stole the show with another villain performance in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

"Locksley! I'm gonna cut your heart out with a spoon"

Later:

"Why a spoon cousin, why not an axe?"

"Because it's dull you twit! It'll hurt more!"

Great actor. He will be missed.
