Is anyone else as excited about this film as I am? George Lucas said that they'd be no more Star Wars films, but I guess he changed his mind! This year is gonna be great! Two awesome film franchises are having new films out this year: Indy and Star Wars!(y)

I was not crazy at all about the animated style of the previous Clone Wars series, but from the few images I saw of this new one, I like the CGI look a bit more. Depending on what the trailer looks like, I suppose I might catch it just out of curiosity.

I'm just glad that he (George) seems to have realised that the fans really love the Clone Wars and the OT out of all the Star Wars stuff. Focusing on these areas for the animated series and the live action series is the future of the franchise. I'm really looking forward to Clone Wars. I loved the Previous animated series and what I've seen so far looks very exciting!

I think it sounds great, but I'd like to see some new and udated stuff on the original triliogy, not just the clone wars. :gun: :dead:

Uh, that's the trailer for the SERIES that showed up sometime last year. I don't think they have a trailer for the MOVIE available yet... Sorry. :hat:

I think the movie is simply some of the first episodes of the series combined together.

That actually is the trailer for the film.

Exactly. Once the media saw "movie", they went nuts. But as the showrunners Dave Filoni and Catherine Winder said at WonderCon, this "movie" is basically a three-episode story arc that is being edited and released as a movie. (Kinda like the Young Indiana Jones re-edits, or the Droids, Ewoks and (original) Clone Wars re-edits.)

If that's the case, why spend money going to see something you're going to see a month or two later? IDK- I'll have to think about whether or not I want to blow seven or eight bucks just to see something that's already going to be on the small screen. And about the trailer, I apologize, I had no idea Lucasfilm just used last year's trailer for the movie trailer. Guess they saved some money there, huh? ;)

Looks like this movie is really gonna be big! McDonalds will have a promo for the film in August, so for you fellow Star Wars collectors who like to collect Star Wars restaurant promos, be on the lookout this August! Here's some more info about the promo as well as the actual film.(y)

That's so weird to see the Warner Brother logo followed by the Lucasfilm one! It's just not the same without the 20th Century Fox fanfare!
