I'd be up for more Disney Indy figs. With the line from Hasbro coming, I don't see it happening, but you never know.

the disney figures suck... seriously.. the headsculpts are horrid.. Marion's body is all jacked up... with Hasbro doing a line of Indy stuff in 3 3/4 scale (most likely) there isnt even a need for more disney figures...

Indy Action Figures at Disney

I went to Disney MGM Studios last week and was shocked to see a wide array of series 2 Indy figures! The Adventure Outpost store is full of them! I thought that the figures were discontinued, but I guess not!

I'm sure those figures for sale are overstock. They may not be making any new figures, but they will sell those they have left.

Well, Hasbro made them, so...I can see them continuing while Indy is Hot and until the new line is sold in the parks... That is a Simply great and Fun toy line.

New 7" Disney Figure

There's a picture of a new Indiana Jones 7" figure in the new Toyfare magazine(issue #125). The article says that the figure is sculpted by Gentle Giant and will be available at the Disney Parks starting in December!! He comes with a sword, gun and whip and a pretty sweet base. Sorry, but I don't have a scanner right now to post a picture.

Yeah, it looks like theres articulation on the shoulders, elbows, legs and knees. I can't tell from the picture if the wrists are articulated or not. It also comes with the fertility idol.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to go see if I can hunt down a copy. Did the article mention if there are other figures in the set or just the Indy?

It didn't say anything about other ones, just Indy. I'd love to get some other figures in that scale, though.

Gah, no Tokyo Disneyland release? That's the only one I'm going to get to next year. Go figure. For the first time in over 5 years I don't have immediate access to a Disney theme park, and now they come out with a new one. Thank dog for Disney's mail order!

And their fact-checker needs to be fired, as Disneyland does not have a stunt show, only the ride.

SWEET MOTHER OF ALL WHICH IS HOLY!!

Well, I will have about 25 of those things WOW!! I am probably one of the biggest Disney Indy toy supporters around and let me say that this is a DREAM come true.If any of you have seen the Disney Store and Park exclusive Pirates figures, you KNOW how amazing this Indy figure will be.

However, the other figures sculpted like this and in this scale are also sold at the Disney Stores. I wonder if the magazine is wrong about this too?

Either way,. I will pay $100 for one off of ebay if I must

I'm so glad that I just live a couple of hours away from Walt Disney World, so it'll be easy for me to get it!

By the way, I wonder how much it costs?

I hope that people that do live near Disney can give the other of us a heads-up when they do hit. I have a friend that lives in Orlando that should be able to get me one, but I don't want to make him go before they're out.

For those who don't live near the parks, they do have a mail order service. Here's the WDW Mail Order info for anyone interested:

Telephone: 407-363-6200
Fax: 407-352-6369
Email: wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com
M-F, 9am-8pm Eastern Time

Shipping and handling is a bit steep, but cheaper than flying to Florida (although not as much fun! )

AllEarsNet (a fan site) has a shipping cost chart here.

The second best thing about the return of Indiana Jones is the amount of great merchandise that will now become available. The figure looks cool.

Has anyone heard any recent news about this?
I called the number and the lady said that she couldn't find an action figure with this description for sale.
