Indy vs._____ who would win?

We all know Indy uses not only his muscles but also his wits to outsmart and take down even his strongest opponents... But is there a character that Indy could not beat? (excluding any characters with super powers)

First I'll pit Indy against Xena (one of my favorite female kick ass characters btw (which I forgot to mention in the kiss ass female character thread)

Who would win this battle?

Not meaning to be rude or anything but shouldn't this be in forum games instead?

I don't really see this as a game, but a question of how strong Indy really is(wits included). But if the mods disagree with me they're welcome to move it over to the forum games.

I agree I don't this as a game, merely talking.

Anyway.
I don't know much about that girl at the top but she does look pretty kick ass.
I'd like to see Ash Williams Vs. Indiana Jones. (y)

Hell Yeah.

Ash Williams... Hmmm.. I'm gonna say that Indy would be the winner, I think he can beat him. All he's gotta do is use his whip to get the chain saw out of his hand. Indy could take him down ;)

Xena, I'm not so sure about though. Even without a weapon she can kick serious ass, I know Indy would definitely have a challenge with her.

INT. STONE CHAMBER

INDY brushes cobwebs out of his path as he steps
from the narrow tunnel into a large, torch-lit
stone chamber. At the far end of the chamber is a
heavy wooden door with iron fittings, barred with
a solid beam. Standing a few feet in front of the
door, facing away from it, is ASH. ASH is leaning
forward, covered by sweat and dust, and breathing
heavily.

                INDY (tentative)

        Um, hello there.

                ASH (looking up)

        Who the hell are you?

                INDY

        Look, I don't want trouble. I'm just
passing through. I think there's something
        in there I need.

                ASH

        Like hell you are, buddy!

                INDY (sighing)

I don't have time for this. I need to get
some book out of that room, or some crazy
guys back there are going to... hurt my
        friends.

                ASH

That's nice, grandpa, but there ain't no
one in this world or any other that's
	going to open that door.

Behind ASH, a thud comes from the wooden door,
releasing a puff of dust into the air.

                INDY (squinting)

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I really
        need that book.

INDY steps forward, moving as if to pass ASH on
the left, surreptitiously moving his right hand
towards his belt.

ASH raises his left hand, which is clutching a
rifle.

                ASH

My boom stick here says you're gonna stay
put, and no-one is touching that book!

INDY flicks his bullwhip forward, wrapping the
rifle and pulling it away. The rifle clatters to
the stone floor behind him as the two lock eyes.

ASH raises his right arm, which has a chainsaw
securely lashed to his stump.

                ASH

As I was saying, my little saw here says
that no-one is touching that book!

ASH and INDY glare at each other, as ASH
nonchalantly pulls the cord and starts up his
chainsaw, which fills the chamber with its
mechanical roar.

Behind ASH, the wooden door surges against the
beam which bends, the sound covered up by the
noise of the chainsaw. ASH can't hear it, but INDY
notices and tips his head slightly, staring past
ASH.

The door surges again, and bursts open, debris
flying to the sides, and a bright light pours into
the room. We don't see what is coming through, but
INDY does. His jaw drops and his eyes go wide, and
with a choking sound he turns and runs back into
the tunnel.

ASH smirks, then notices the light and slowly
turns. A horde of DEADITES streams from the
doorway towards him.

                ASH

	Aw, hell.

ASH turns and runs for the tunnel.

                ASH

	Wait up, grandpa!

Regarding Indy vs. Xena, Xena hands down. She's the daughter of Ares!

Yes, no contest there!

Firstly, Indy is normally winging it during close combat (unless he's out at whipping distance); and Xena is a sword-mistress.

Secondly, she'd give him her wry grin (combined with that twinkle in her eye). He'd return with a lop-sided grin (thinking his luck was in). At that moment he'd be butter in her hands, and it would all be over one way or another. ;)

InexorableTash, Where the hell did you find this?
That is hilarious!
Good stuff.:D
I still think Indy would have a hard time beating Ash...

Xena was the lover of Ares not the daughter..:whip:

But I do agree that Xena would probably kick Indy's ass lol

Thanks for the link! I'll check it out.

LOL Yeah that is probably how it would happen.

Well, I think whether or not Ares is Xena's dad is debatable. Found this article online.

http://www.whoosh.org/issue52/dekker5.html

At the very least, Xena has demigod status and ability. She and Ares fought to a draw in one episode. Can't see Indy taking on the God of War and doing very well.

The issue of Ares being Xena's father was eventually cleared up:

Kevin Smith -I guess it was in the fifth season when they really started going off on the idea that Ares loved Xena, and I asked the producers, "Is this for real, man?" And they went, "Let's play it for real." Because once we got out of the is-he-her-dad thing - I needed to clear that up right away; I need not to be her dad to do this, you understand [Laughter], because that's just sort of icky! - I've always played it as a seduction scene.

Definitely NOT Xena's daddy lol

Xena's skills are genuinely human acquired and were partially taught to her by a woman named Lao Ma. So I think it would be a fair fight against Indy. Xena is an expert at martial arts but Indy is an expert at out witting his opponent. Would be a fun battle to see..

Imhotep...Or Indy have a really hard time beating Imhotep..:D
i don't know if indy knew about him going into the adventure he might have found the book and knew not to read from the book , and if someone stupid read from the book he would know he would have to find the other book , indy has more ancient sense than o'connell did.

If O'Connell didn't have Evy (let's say she got killed after releasing Imhotet), he'd have been toast.
O'Connell doesn't have much in the brains department compared to Dr. Jones.
