Why does Indy look like he is about to cry in that poster?

tnswman said:Not at all, It is a reasonable question and thought. I probably keep up with the new paint app process more than most people and I TOLD everyone what was coming in the newer cases.. Those that didn't believe me then KNOW I was being honest NOW as they hold their BETTER painted figures in their hands!
At some point, one has to realize that this is as good as it is going to get. reaching that point is a VERY personal choice. As long as you don't become unreasonable about it, then you will get what you want. if not..sorry, you just expect too much.

Too tired to open it.

Kooshmeister said:Regarding the issue of paint aps, I've been collecting Hasbro's Star Wars stuff long enough to know that with mass-market toys such as these they're not always going to be painted perfectly.
So when I get a new figure at the store, if I can, I'll choose whichever has the best paintjob. If there's only one of said figure on the pegs, I find it's unwise to pass it up, as I can get another one later. This is especially true of army builders. My first Death Star Trooper for instance, had a pretty lousy paintjob (the glossy black from his belt had gotten onto the duller black of his tunic), but I got him anyway since he was the only one there (this was early in the 30th Anniv. Collection's release so people were snapping up the brand-new figures like crazy).
Later, I found two other ones which had better paintjobs and bought them. Of course, with non-army builders this may not always be feasible unless one wants an army of Han Solo clones, but ever since my dog Max chewed up one of my two POTF2 Bossks back in '97, I've found that sometimes it is in fact wise to own a "backup" of a figure you like.

Gonna get one more 3 3/4 inch figure today. Your advice: Dovchenko or Cemetery Warrior?
