THX-1138 mentioned in Raiders?

I don't know if this has been discussed before, I don't recall it being in any extras. But in the loudspeaker at the submarine docks in Riaders it says in German "Ein, Ein, Drei, Acht. Which translates
"1138"
I think this would probably be ralated to Lucas' first featured film. What do you guy's think? And have you noticed this?

1138 appears in all of Lucas' movies in one form or another.
So, yes, this is the part in Raiders where the 1138 appears.

THX-1138 also seems to be stamped on the side of the Flying Wing, if I recall right.

As for ToD goes, I have no idea, but in LC... I recall hearing it's stands on the license plate of Sallah's car, have to check it out.

Because it was his first professional movie. And all directors (artists, writers, musicians, etc.) have a special place their hearts for their first major work, no matter how terrible it is. My first student film stunk, but I still love it because it was my first time behind the camera.

THX-1138 is a great movie provided the fact that it was done on an extremely limited budget. I will admit its weird, but from what I hear the new DVD has some changes to it that make the weirdness more bearable.

Complete with CGI, changed sequences, and added scenes...wait where did that happen again? HMM...I can't quite place a finger on it...

"THX-1138 is a terrible movie..."

THX-1138 WAS Georges BEST film, until he recut it and smeared cruddy CGI all over it...

As bad as it was it was Lucas' first. This is why I ask if anybody has noticed the number 1138 in any of the new starwars.

Been trying to confirm these for the longest time...

...but I can't.

I had DoomTown and his wife, (Austrians) check out the loudspeaker and they cannot confirm.

In any event, IMAX seems to be THE best chance...at least until BluRays!

I've never seen it. Where?
IMDB lists both as do Wikipedia, (for what its worth).

If they were there we could see/hear them.

Bugged me so much I had to go see and listen.

I pretty much went through the Flying Wing scene frame by frame and couldn't find the alleged imprintation. So yeah. The best I can come up with that maybe it WAS printed in the prop, but doesn't show up onscreen anywhere. Maybe it's visible on an on-set picture? But if that's the case, it hardly counts as a genuine reference.

I know some German, so I figured I'd pick up the numbers easy enough. But too bad that some of the loudspeaker speech is fainted out by the score during the scene. If they are said at some point, the best bet is during the shot where Marion is being escorted down the deck at gunpoint.
