From Hasbro: Indy Figures To Be Shown At Comic Con!!

Here is a question about the Indy figures and the reply from the Hasbro team from the current Star Wars Hasbro Q/A

Not exactly Star Wars, but all of our readers are interested....can you give us some hints about Indiana Jones and what we'll see from that line?

We are glad to hear about the interest in IJ - because we are pumped too! While we will be sneak-previewing some figures at Comic Con International, we have to keep the details under wraps for now. We will divulge that there are some very familiar scales as well as a few surprises in the
line. Suffice to say that we have top men working on it. The same top men that have been bringing you the Star Wars line, so there should be a lot of consistency in approach..

Comic Con is this month. I can see them showing indy from Indy 4 and the rest will probably be from the previous movies.

WOW! Can't wait!!

That's probably about the movie. The figures will be at the Hasbro section.

Or Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia for that matter Actually I think they've done okay by Harrison face-wise of late.

Can't wait to see what they show!

Good point. I've noted as well that Harrison's head is a difficult one to capture as a toy or even a computer model.
I even think the model of the new Indiana Jones '2007' video game is not 100% Harrison.

Still, I have to admit that Gentle Giant did an excellent job on their Han Solo bust though. One of the best Harrison replica's I've seen around:

My girlfriend has that bust and it really looks extraordinary!
to the sculptor!

Go to any number of websites and look up the pics from any 2005-2007 Han solo figure

if ANYONE would tell me how to post pics on here, I would do it myself

He means Hasbro. Hasbro's been getting Harison Ford's like-ness dead-on since 2004 with Vintage Style ANH Han.

Indiana Jones should be no problem.

Though they almost have Mark Hamill's & Sam Jackson's like-ness dead on & they're not even close on Carrie Fisher.

there we go... That's just one example.. there have been more that are even closer to the real Ford face.

this will also give Hasbro / Gentle Giant a chance to Real Scan Harrison now too. They have not scanned him as of last year. This will be GREAT for the figures now.
