A great, unique and extensively documented piece of work well worth a place on the upper bookshelves of any Indiana Jones / Star Wars / George Lucas fan!
The book, by Marcus Hearn and with a foreword from Ron Howard (played a role in Lucas' American Graffiti
) came out January 2005 - it's a shame I didn't ask it for my birthday in June, but after re-exams I finally went out and bought it !
It's now one of my proudest possesions and will take me some days to read intensively but I found it well worthwile: for most of Lucas' films, the author gives up the entire shooting schedule, there's also a complete double-page filled with the atop-of-the-train chase sequence from the beginning of TLC.
I can't believe there haven't been any posts about this unequalled compendium of Lucas' filmwork and professional achievements yet...
Anyone else a proud possesor of this work - care to share your "wows", cheers and amazements ?
