If I'm lucky, I might get it this weekend. I was supposed to get it along with the ET guide on Easter. As of now, I only have the guide.

Yeah, why do they always have to put supernatural garbage in these games?

The Indy movies: Christian mythology (RotLA, LC), Hindu mythology (ToD).

The Indy games: Plato's private mythology (FoA), Babylonian mythology (IM), Chinese mythology (ET), various South American mythologies (DA - of course it's a stretch, but there is *some* use there).

Assumedly, you could consider the heavy use of various mythologies and folklore throughout the Indy movies and games to be "garbage" - thus implying that you consider Indy to be garbage... but then, why post at an Indy forum at all?

it is fine to have some religious mytholagy like the Indy movies, but do you ever see Indy going to a whole nother dimension of the earth, like the Netherworld?

I agree. I didn't play the full version of ET, so I can't really comment on that one, but that other dimension at the end of Infernal Machine really felt out of place.

On the other hand, senate meetings always seemed out of place in those Star Wars novels, and then the prequels came out, and suddenly they fit in. Maybe Indy 4 will have some other dimensions in it, and then the Indy games will seem right (I hope not, though!)

I only have the Demo, but it rocks! (I FINALLY got it working!)

As for the controls, invest in a joystick, or, like I did, here's my map: I use the arrow keys for moving INSTEAD of wasd, and use wasd for inventory stuff. Works a ton better.

As for fighting, moving the cam does take some getting used to, but I can't think of another way to do it.

So far, Great Game. Real version I'm getting soon, I hope.

Oh, as for getting it on the bargain bins, Try Half.com. Freaks like us buy the game, beat it in to days, then sell it half price at almost new quality there. I found one for 20 dollars, and it had only been played once!

You will have alot of fun with it, I assure you, when I say I do not like the supernatural stuff I am not saying I don't like the game, the game is great! there is only supernatural stuff at the end.
